Help me build a new team!

Now, I love my original team, but I'd like a second, I'd like more experience, and I'd like more options. So I'm starting a new team. A lot of this I can do myself, but I'm pressed for time, so any input is appreciated. If anyone feels a certain Pokemon or 2 are misplaced, I can always change this lineup a bit. ANY good suggestions are welcome (actually, ASKED FOR), especially since this is a projected list. I haven't begun ANY of this work yet. Lastly, keep in mind that I have Salamence, Gyrados, Metagross and Dragonite all in mind as possibilities for this team, so if you think any of these are better ideas over certain guys I already have, PLEASE LMK. Thanks. So here's the start:

Dragon Claw only if using Swords Dance, otherwise breed for Outrage

The Sleeptalker. Could also use the Curse set. But never use special moves on Snorlax, it's icky

Steel is a horrible type to attack with, only use if you are having massive problems with Weavile or Tyranitar, even then stick to the likes of Meteor Mash and Gyro Ball

You could, but as a retaliation move for a wall you would wanna make it as powerful as you could.

ScizorRules August 20th, 2007 9:33 AM

Thanks to all for the fixes. I will definitely be implementing many of them. One thing I may be misunderstanding is how is Vaporeon with Baton Pass useful?

Anti August 20th, 2007 1:03 PM

It passes the substitute. That way your pokemon will take a free hit.

Azonic August 20th, 2007 1:05 PM

Sub-Passing is very useful i you pass into sweepers

Ah, yeah, forgot about that.

Anti August 20th, 2007 1:06 PM

I also recommend cusrelax over a Stalking one, but that set works fine as well so it's your call.

ScizorRules August 21st, 2007 12:53 PM

Okay, made a few changes. I'm wondering if Swords Dance is really worth having on Garchomp.

Umm... I prefer Restalk, but... either one serves well

Thanks to everyone for the help. I've made a few changes.
