Me2UJus4Free August 20th, 2007 5:19 PM

I have a Female Blaziken with a Impish nature. =3

Pocky August 20th, 2007 5:22 PM

I use to save the game right in front of where I pick my starter, so if I got a male pokemon, I would just restart it untill I got a female pokemon!^_^

Vavavoom ♣ August 20th, 2007 5:38 PM

Sadly, no. Not from this generation, though.

msdmario August 20th, 2007 7:11 PM

I don't have any female starters in this generation because I didn't really care about them. However, I do have some female starters in the 4th generation so I can breed some egg moves onto them.

Tamaki August 20th, 2007 7:20 PM

oh mine just happened by chance heh

Shiraishi August 20th, 2007 7:21 PM

DOes it matter? Just get a male and breed with ditto repeatively until you get a female D: Most of the good egg moves require other games anyway..

Tamaki August 20th, 2007 7:51 PM

yeah ive done that. but it feels special when you get a female by chance ^^

Typhlosion in Repose August 20th, 2007 7:59 PM

Every single squirtle I have started with have been female. Other than that, I have to breed for them.

Tamaki August 20th, 2007 8:13 PM

wow thats lucky! charmander was my first girl starter

Ayano Katagiri August 20th, 2007 9:03 PM

Not in 3rd gen I haven't been able to start off with a female. In Diamond however, that's a different story.

Pocky August 20th, 2007 9:07 PM

My first pokemon in Pearl was a female chimchar! she was very strong too! Sadly, I restarted my entire game for a very stupid reason...

Random August 20th, 2007 9:55 PM

My very first Treecko in ruby, for the first time playing in the 3rd gen, it was a female. :)

GOPgabe August 20th, 2007 10:08 PM

A female charmander, from LG, usually if I get a female I reset it and start again. It's just I prefer male pokemon exception for blissey.

The Fallen August 20th, 2007 10:12 PM

Female starters are actually quite hard to get. You only have a 12.5% of getting one. I have gotten one, but I prefer male.

Ivysaur August 20th, 2007 11:09 PM

It's strange, I never got a female starter. It was a pain before LG and FR came out and I could get a Ditto...

The Infinite Devil Machine August 20th, 2007 11:53 PM

I had a female Cyndaquil when I first played through crystal. Then, I have a female Combusken in Sapphire.

Goldenhammerhead August 21st, 2007 12:01 AM

i got a female turtwig (now lv100 torterra) on first try.

PoisonOwnzYou August 21st, 2007 6:32 AM

I had a female infernape, but I restarted my game and got a male turtwig =[

That's sexist. There isn't a difference between the two gender! OMG!

Tangerine Fox August 21st, 2007 8:50 AM

I've only gotten male starters, personally. I don't really care about their gender -- I just like playing the game. My sister once spent half an hour trying to get a sassy Torchic and got three females trying for the right additude. The third was sassy, so she kept it.

Well, aside from being rarer and more sought after.

~RNC~ August 21st, 2007 2:21 PM

I have a couple female starters, but like someone else said gender doesn't matter to me either.

~*!*~Tatsujin Gosuto~*!*~ August 21st, 2007 2:42 PM

Capin' Keanan August 21st, 2007 3:27 PM

I Believe that the starters have on average a 14% Chance of being Female, Personally, if the Pokemon looks Male/Female i usually try to get that certain sex, its just the thing that i do, it not strange.. Honest..
