How'd I forget bronzong? That's a worthy poke. He is indeed looking for a tank BTW.

Ability: Levitate

252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SDef
-Gyro Ball
-Earthquake

Only weak to fire. Immune to Ground and Poison. Resistant to Normal, Grass , Ice , Flying, Psychic, Rock, Dragon and Steel. What more can you ask for? Try to get zero IVs in Speed too which would give you 63 speed at level 100. Then Gyro Ball is just godly.

There is also Spiritomb.

Why hasnt anyone considered a Heatproof Bronzong to surprise it's foes? There are rarely any Sp. Ground attacks for a Physical Bronzong, and there is a LOT of Sp. Fire attacks used if you have a physical Bronzong. Earthquake is scary, I know, but you could have heatproof to surprise your opponent. I doubt an opponent using a Garchomp against you with use Earthquake against Bronzong, the player would have no idea at all

AnimeDDR110 August 25th, 2007 6:27 AM

yeah try spiritomb. medium fast on the exp. points and try to ev in it attack 7 defense or sp.atk & sp.def depending on your moveset. 311 is max attack & sp.atk & 346 on max def. and sp.def.

Levitate > Heatproof simply becuase having an immunity is better then taking damage altogether.

I meant to surprise an opponent, people will THINK that Bronzong has Levitate, they will go for a quick Flamethrower, Fire Blast etc.

If your using a Physical Bronzong, Heatproof is best in my opinion because Special Ground type moves arent very common

Bronzong will still take a dent from fire attacks even if it isn't super effective. Togekiss, Houndoom, Salamence and maybe Garchomp can still at least 2HKO Bronzong with a Fire attack.

It is up to preference really.

Thought you were going with a mixedmence. Infernape will serve well of course though.

Well for Tanking, Tangrowth is amazing. Steelix and Bronzong are probabley better choices for you though, at the moment you need walls.

But if your still interested I highly suggest you check out Tangrowth. I'm not to experienced with conducting a movepool for her though. Just make sure to keep here away from special sweepers.

TB Pro August 25th, 2007 12:56 PM

Yes I wanted to use a Mixedmence but no one would post a full moveset! Also I have Decided on Swampy for a Tank sooo could Someone Post A Moveset?

Anti August 25th, 2007 1:01 PM

Yay! Swampy, one of my favs. Here ya go:

[email protected]
Relaxed Nature
EVs: 252 Attack, rest in defenses and HP
~Curse
~EQ
~Avalanche
~Rest/Waterfall

I'm bad with EVs for Swampy, but the moveset I'm pretty sure of. Stone edge is another option I forgot to put in there in that last slot.

TB Pro August 25th, 2007 1:05 PM

Id Go 252 Atk/ 158 Def/ 100 HP for the EV's I think but yeah!Well Can Someone Post A full Moveset of a Mixedmence?with EV's Nature and All?Also Thank you Anti-Pop Culture Warrior13 for all the help!

Anti August 25th, 2007 1:11 PM

Here's mixedmence, or my set at least:

[email protected] Orb
Hasty Nature (i think, maybe naive)
EVs: 252 Speed, 132 Special Attack, 126 Attack
~Dragon Claw
~HP Flying
~EQ/Stone Edge
~Flamethrower

Yeah, obviously for 4th gen. I believe there is another mixedmence set, but that's the one mence set I'm not a master at. I know the EVs are good though.

EDIT: Forgot about Dragon Dance, which is common on mixedmence. My set probably isn't the standard.

TB Pro August 25th, 2007 1:14 PM

Thanks ummm I know this is a n00bish question but how do you get certain HP types? Also I would want to put DD in there somewhere.

EDIT:these are the moves I was thinking of running

Dragon Dance
Dragon Claw
Flamethrower
EQ/Stone Edge

Anti August 25th, 2007 1:19 PM

Okay, here's my DDmixmence:

Same as last time...
~Dragon Dance
~Dragon Claw/EQ
~Flamethrower
~any attacking move really...

The purpose is to use DD, and the opponent will switch into the physical wall, let's say skarmory. Use flamethrower on the turn they switch out (which is very predictable) and bye-bye steelix/Skarmory/forretress. Simple prediction really.

TB Pro August 25th, 2007 1:25 PM

Plus then they send in a special wall and a DD'd EQ/Dragon Claw wipes them out!So Mixedmence is all about confusing your foes.In the Last Slot I would Add....Either Dragon Claw(if not used abouve)or Stone Edge/EQ(if not used abouve)

Anti August 25th, 2007 1:32 PM

I'd use EQ and Dragon Claw both, with fthrower and DD.

TB Pro August 25th, 2007 2:01 PM

Ok sooo
[email protected] Orb
108 Atk/ 150Sp.atk/ 252 Spd
Nature: Hasty
Ability: Intimidate
-Flamethrower
-DD
-Dragon Claw
-EQ

hows that?

TB Pro August 25th, 2007 2:07 PM

Ok sooo
[email protected] Orb
108 Atk/ 150Sp.atk/ 252 Spd
Nature: Hasty
Ability: Intimidate
-Flamethrower
-DD
-Dragon Claw
-EQ

hows that?

Anti August 25th, 2007 2:21 PM

You posted it twice, just so you know. It's fine, but since you have attack EVs and DD, modest/timid wouldn't be too bad either if you hate subtracting defenses.

TB Pro August 25th, 2007 2:28 PM

Ok sooo
[email protected] Orb
108 Atk/ 150Sp.atk/ 252 Spd
Nature: Modest
Ability: Intimidate
-Flamethrower
-DD
-Dragon Claw
-EQ

hows that?

Modest to take care of most Steel types!

Anti August 25th, 2007 2:37 PM

Looks good. Not much else to say. Could use a second opinion though.

TB Pro August 25th, 2007 2:43 PM

Ok(did you see my new avvy?)well if anybody else comes in then then I hope they give us a second opinion!

Waffle-San August 25th, 2007 3:52 PM

Well
EQ
DD
Dragon Claw
Flametrhower

is the movepool I originally posted in the other thread so I'm going to stand by it. And ya I'd say go Modest, you want flamethrower ot pack a punch and DD will make up for whatever attack points your losing hopefully. So I basically back you both up.

I'm not really good with Swampert so I'm just going to leave the moveset Anti.... posted.(I still think Tangrowth deserves some consideration)

Anti August 25th, 2007 3:53 PM

Tangrowth is a very good pokemon, but I think his mind has been made up. I agree though.

TB Pro August 25th, 2007 3:59 PM

Well do you think I should go with Tang?

Eos Aduro August 25th, 2007 4:14 PM

Yeah, you could go with this set

Tangrowth-Leftovers/Heat Rock
Bold-252 Defense, 152 HP, 104 Special Attack
Substitue
LEech Seed
Sunny Day
AQncient Power

I dont really know, made up on the spot.
