Help needed on Snowpoint Gym ^^;

Yes, I know there are various websites for looking up walktrhoughs, but I've tried 3, read through them for AGES and none of them answer anything, no joke, and I'm tired of reading through them

Anyways, I'm at the Gym in Snowpoint City where you have to smash these snowballs with enough momentum for them to break, and I keep on getting to a point where I can break no more of them to get to the gym leader, is there a particular order I need to do them or stragerty?

thanks in advance, I REALLY appriciate it!

Try this, I'm not taking credit for this guide:

Quote:

1. Go to the North East part of snow you're standing on.
2. Step right.
3. Step up.
4. Step up. (Through a snowball)
5. Step left.
6. Step down.
7. Step left.
8. Step left.
9. Step left (Trainer battle. Pokémon: Sneasel (level 37), Floatzel
(level 37)
10. Step down.
11. Step right.
12. Step down.
13. Step right. (Should be back at the begining)
14. Return to the North-East snow-pad, step up. (Through 3 snowballs)
15. Step right.
16. Step right.
17. Step down.
18. Step left. (Trainer battle. Pokémon: Golduck (level 36), Steelix (level
37), Pelipper (Level 35)
19. Step up.
18. Step left.
19. Step left.
20. Step left.
21. Step down. (Trainer battle. Pokémon: Snover (Level 39)
22. Step right.
23. Step down. (To beginning)
24. Step to the North-West snow pad.
25. Step up. (Through 2 snowballs)
26. Step left. (Trainer battle. Tentacruel (Level 37), Sneasel (Level 37)
27. Step up.
28. Step down.
29. Step left.
30. Step down.
31. Step down.
32. Step right. (Through a snowball)
33. Return to beginning, go to the North-East snow-pad.
34. Step right
35. Step up.
36. Step up.
37. Step up.
38. Step left
39. Step left.
40. Step up.
41. Step right. (Trainer battle. Pokémon: Snover (Level 39)
42. Step right. (Through a snowball)
43. Step right. (Trainer battle (last one). Pokémon: Quagsire (Level 39)
44. Return to beginning, and again, go to the North-West snow-pad.
45. Step left.
46. Step up. (Four times)
47. Step right. (Through a snowball)
48. Return to Anton (The trainer to the right of the Gym leader), and stand
on the left snow-pad above him)
49. Step down.
50. Step left. (Through a snowball)
51. Step left.
52. Step up.
53. Step right. (Through the final snowball)
54. Return to beginning.
55. Align yourself in the middle of the entrance, and keep on going
forward. This will lead to the Gym Leader.

On another note, the basic idea is to break the snowballs until you make
a path to the gym leader. You have three floor types: Ice that will always
move you the direction you were going, snow floors that will stop you, and
snowballs that will stop you if you are not fast enough, and break if you
are going at a certain speed and direction.

Or just keep trying... it took me 2 times to get through it and it wasn't as long as what I posted

Ok have a go at the one I posted, give some feedback then I'll write my own way up

Leon K. Fox August 28th, 2007 2:48 PM

It's confusing, but I'll get there hopefully

spyroflameX August 28th, 2007 4:06 PM

It's not that hard. o.o; Just try to bust all the snowballs first, then advance on the Gym Leader.

Leon K. Fox August 29th, 2007 2:33 AM

I have, but I can never manage to bust them all and spend hours in there

it took me 1 hour to even get to the gym I know how you feel. Dont worry you'll do it. Its like the Ice Path a pain in the neck.
