Knight, make your own thread to get your team rated =_=; Red X, give Salamence lefties/focus sash and give Torterra a yache berry maybe..

Red X August 30th, 2007 12:42 PM

Thanks for the advice, anymore is appreciated.

sims796 August 30th, 2007 1:23 PM

Torterra the wall should use Leftovers. Torterra the attacker has Life Orb, if you want.

It seems you took that set straight off Serebii, straight down to EV. Its very nice. Honestly. I use that EV spread myself.

Samson August 30th, 2007 6:12 PM

focus band is pointless on torterra. give it yache berry if the idea is that you want it to survive ice attacks. also, using leech seed + woodhammer is really a bad idea because of the recoil damage. if you're going to have leech seed, i highly suggest replacing woodhamer with either seed bomb/stone edge/roar/protect/light screen.

i hate blissey, but i can assure you that it's definitely going to want seismic toss. the idea of having thunderwave is to cripple the foe so that you can stall with seismic toss and softboiled. if you don't have seismic toss, then you can't rely on ice beam to do diddly squat since you paralyze the foe first anyway.

just give milotic leftovers.

if the point of salamence is to deliver strong attacks after a dragon dance, then it's gonna need yache berry to gaurantee that it survives ice attacks. if you could care less for ice attacks, then you could always consider substitute so that you can ward a free attack on whatever switches in.

Red X August 30th, 2007 11:55 PM

I don't have the option of seismic toss on Blissey, because I don't I couldn't breed a Chancey Aromatherapy on my FireRed.

Susselmuch? August 31st, 2007 12:05 AM

I'd go with EQ on salamence over stealth rock. Works much better IMO.

.Brendan August 31st, 2007 1:55 AM

Nice but you should give the yache berry to torterra, helped me against a salamence with hidden power ice.

Alakazam should have a timid nature to use it to full. if you want it to be a pure sweeper, use recover and then put a life orb on it, thats mine anyway.

Personally i think you should get rid of electivire and switch it with herracross with this stats:

Evs: 4hp, 252 atk, 252 spd

Moves:
-Megahorn
-Close combat
-Stone Edge
-Pursiut (for switchers)

Ability- Guts
Item: Choice band
Adamany nature

For Blissey, take out ice beam and put stealth rock

I think Milotic Should have Leftovers (Not sure)

Salamence should have this:

-Draco Meteor
-Flamthrower
-Hydro Pump
-Dragon Pulse

Item: Choice Specs

Evs: 4hp, 252atk, 252 spd

Intimdate

Modest nature

Thanks to www.serebii.net for the Move stats etc

- Thunder Punch
- Ice punch
- Cross Chop

i can't really help you on that one.

Alakazam @ leftovers
Trait: sychronize?
Nature: modest
EVs: 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Spd /4 HP
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Trick

Blissey @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 6 SDef
- seismic toss
- Ice Beam
- Softboiled

Salamence @ leftovers

Lugialord - I don't have the option of seismic toss on Blissey, because I don't I couldn't breed a Chancey Aromatherapy on my FireRed.

Torterra @ Leftovers
Trait: Overgrow
Nature: Impish
EVs: 212 HP / 176 Def / 120 SDef
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Seed Bomb
- Leech Seed / Synthesis
Not only is Focus Band Cheap, it's the most retarded item.
And for the record, Tanks with already high Attack don't really need any attack EVs. Invest them into Sp. Def to make him semi-solid. Keep him away from Ice Types.

Electivire @ Expert Belt
Trait: Motor Drive
Nature: Naughty
EVs: 52 HP / 232 Atk / 176 Spd / 48 SAtk
- Thunderbolt
- Ice punch
- Cross Chop / Fire Punch
- Earthquake / Fire Punch
Electivire needs only 270 Speed to switch into an Electric Attack and attack at will. Lose either Cross Chop or Earthquake as both on the same set isn't doing you much good. Replace one with Fire Punch to attack Bug Types.

Alakazam @ Choice Specs
Trait: Synchronize
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Sp.Atk / 252 Spd /4 HP
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Trick
- Shadow Ball
Workable.

Blissey @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 Def / 252 HP / 4 SDef
- Thunder Wave
- Ice Beam
- Softboiled
- Aromatherapy
Your Ice Beams won't be breaking Substitutes, but whatever...

Milotic @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EVs: 212 HP / 224 Def / 72 SAtk
- Surf
- Ice Beam / Dragon Pulse
- Recover
- Hypnosis
Tanks never need Attack EVs.

Salamence @ Leftovers / Life Orb / Expert Belt
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 48 HP / 252 Atk / 136 Spd / 72 SAtk
Nature: Naughty
- Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Blast
- Stone Edge
The Special Attack EVs make KOing Skarmory (And Friends) a whole lot easier.

Lack of Normal Resistance, but it looks okay.
