Catching Pokemon
I have seen lots of "techniques" that people use when throwing a Pokeball (like holding A, making a circle on the directional pad, continously tapping A & B, and almost every combination of buttons imaginable)
Whenever I seem to mash the buttons when throwing a Pokeball, it seems to have a higher success rate. But this doesn't seem logical, I mean why the game be coded like that? Does mashing the buttons actually work? Or was it just something dreamt up? Do you press anything when throwing a Pokeball? |
It's all in your head, I believe. When I was younder, I got into the habit of pushing down on the control pad when I throw a Pokeball and now I can't stop, but it really doesn't make any difference. At least, that's what I've found. For all I know, there could be some secret code in the game that raises the catch rate.
