I am close to crying...

I am in the worst mood imaginable. Do you know why? Because there are 2 Elite Trainers on Pokemon Diamond that I'm unable to beat. I tried tons of times. The Garados and Kadabra are virtually impossible to beat. They're the last trainers until I get to the city. The garados has Intimidate, and a defense to boot that I cannot beat. It is impossible to beat him.

I just got this game, and it's the hardest game I have played in my life. I am being serious. I am close to crying histarically. The only problem is, that I'm so stubborn to beat those evil, malicious trainers.

Another thing is THERE ARE TOO MANY (You can insert any large number of curse words here. Use your imagination.) TRAINERS IN THIS (Another go again, please.) WORLD!!!!!!!

I'm so pissed off. I'm frusterated, I've been sick all week, I've been bored at my house until then, and when I finally get "this great game and system," I'm about to get a sledgehammer and break it to bits.

Any advice? I don't have many pokemon, but I'm looking to borrow a lv28. If someone can tell me HOW TO BEAT THEM!!!! In the last gym, they said that I can only go to lv30. Well, I have a lv30, a lv29, and a lot of weakies. I'm screwed to the point of insanity and loss of fun in the game.

Oh, and if people wanna add me, my FC is 4467 8610 0074. I'm looking to trade a lv30 Graveller for a lv28 pokemon that can beat him.

I'm new to this forum, sorry, but if I'm in the wrong place, please move my thread. But yes, I need a lv28 Pokemon that has a good chance of beating the (wowzers... ouch...... ooh.... don't say that.... quit yelling, man...) out of those 2 Ace Trainers. If not, please tell me how to defeat them!!!!

Wheelz4speed August 30th, 2007 7:01 PM

exteradude August 30th, 2007 7:04 PM

Thanks! What's your FC? I'll add you. I'm deciding to go the south way, instead of the west way, but that's to just explore the town. Then, I'm headed up to those evil trainers. (Darned hoothoot! He put meh 2 sleep! I'm too awesome for sleep! I'll use an awakening! Oh, right now I'm in a battle with a police guy)

AnimeDDR110 August 30th, 2007 7:08 PM

Don't hate the game, all you need to do is relax and train your butt off

AnimeDDR110 August 30th, 2007 7:27 PM

People can still trade him any Pokémon, even if he doesn't have the National Pokédex. It just won't register in his Sinnoh Pokédex, but that doesn't mean he can't own Pokémon from outside Sinnoh.

¤~†~¤

Anyway, any decent Electric-type move would take care of Gyarados, and Kadabra has crap physical defenses. Before you give up on your own team, can you maybe say what Pokémon you do have?

Otherwise, yea, you could always use another person's Pokémon to just breeze on through...

exteradude August 30th, 2007 7:34 PM

I think I have done so enough. For one, out of the over 60 trainers I have battled right now, 2 of them are gym leaders. Yes, I have 2 badges. Second, I want to beat this game so badly, but they have gone over the limit and thrice over whilst they put all of these most devastatingly frustrating trainer battle counts. Meaning, they have made me frustrated by adding waaaaaayyyyyy too many trainers. I think I've worked my butt of enough, sitting all day battling trainers virtually non-stop. I want to beat the game, and collect like I always do. Will someone help me?? I only have 2 Pokemon that are good, because the trainer battles go more leveled too fast, and I want to beat this game like I usually beat games: In under a week, the time I beat Emerald, Sapphire, Crystal (In 1 and a half days), yellow, and a lot more. I'm looking to have fun with the game, but I have to nickname all my pokemon because the names are very unusual and hard to remember. It;s like saying, "Say rumplestilkskien 80 times fast, then battle it in Pokemon Diamond as a normnal wild battle common." The battles get harder and harder and harder so swiftly that I have no time, that I just want to get to the next part, to train my pokemon. All the world's worst games are like that. Never give you the pleasurable [mental] story time to take the game and have fun with it by making it fun as in minigames, as in taking your time to explore a vast land without trainers, just lots and lots of Pokemon. Just to take your time in a city doing at least SOME story. In this game, you battle one of the 3 galactica-whachamacallit 3 after the first badge. There are too many trainers, making the "great, vast land of Sinno" be more of a Vacation Resort for retarted trainers who, when they look at me, wanna battle me (Why ME??? I've seen running trainers who face eachother, and then just go. Then, when they see me, they BOTH wanna battle me...) instead of a home.

EDIT:

@zooy, it's hard not to cry over a game when 1. my mom got both the DS and the PkmnD for me so I'd better play it in respect 2. I have a splitting headache and I'm laying down, but I wanna b a good buy and make my mom proud... aww man... oh, and a bad cough and the runs (lol...)

@dragon: Thank's so much! And, when I transfer it over, I'll give ya some free legendaries that I quite frankly don't need. How's suicune and raikou sounding?

J_zero August 31st, 2007 12:20 AM

If you already got the 8 badge then im sure youl be able to use my lv 100 Rayquaza :) but i still dont have wifi :( when i do il clone one for ya :)

But you dont need to be frustrated, dude its only a game :nervous: and besides if its difficult you just gotta keep tryin and never loose hope :) wht starter did ya choose ? and wht level is he?

J.M. August 31st, 2007 3:40 AM

They're arent too many trainers... I'd say there's not enough.

Anyway, Luxray would beat Gyarados in one shot

For Kadabra use a bug type or your strongest Pokemon

Also stop whining and start training, you might get somewhere...

Actually, you can own non-Sinnoh dex Pokemon, they just won't be registered on your Pokedex yet! I can lone you decent dark type(Umbreon) so you can destroy Kadabra and a Luxray(to destroy the Gyarados).

J.M. August 31st, 2007 3:53 AM

Venasaur won't be much help, use an electric type and cause 4x damage. You can catch a Shinx very, very early in the game

Yeah, you're right. I haven't got much sleep tonight = Very bad at strategy.

I had my starter up to level 35 at that point in the game... Your starter can be level 100 and you not have a single badge and it still obeys you.

DarkWraith August 31st, 2007 4:29 AM

omg ive actually beat the whole storyline part of the game now and ive never ever lost a battle. Just make sure that you are very picky about who is in your line up. My is unbeatable ingame and now im training a decent stratergy based team for online battling.

Gyarados hates electric so shock his *** and kadabra is weak aswell. its not like they have decent attacks anyway.

Blaziken_Boy August 31st, 2007 4:32 AM

Ooh, here's what you should've done since it works half the time:
1:Get Piplup
2:Level it up ONLY

Tada, it'll be uber once you face the E4. I did that until I got Dialga and Lucario, then I made my uber-Steven party. (All steel)
