Diamond deletes my save file?
If I load my Diamond game with one of my GBA games in the slot, the GBA save file gets deleted. It only happens with pokemon games and it's really annoying because I can't migrate my pokemon. Is there a patch for this or am I in trouble?

hmm that is very weird i have migrated so many pokemon
but tht hasnt ever happend t me or any one i know |
Thts strange o.0 never happened to me though, but after you transfered did you leave the cartridge there? or did ypu put it when you were in the menu screen of Diamond?
|
It has happened to me with my Sapphire cartridge and I had completed the whole game and I was going to m=Migrate so I can get Regigigas. Mine happened on Pearl though. I haven't hacked or anything, it's a real game and has never been hacked (and things like that).

I wouldn't think that anything would happen unless you have either hacked or accidentaly switched off when saving. (When in a rush.)
I've had a few unpleasent experiences when I was tranferring Pokemon from my GB games to Pokemon Stadium. So far, nothing has happened to my GBA games with Coloseum, XD, Box or D/P. |
This question has been asked so many times already. You most likely have an illegal copy of your GBA Pokémon game. For some reason D/P cartridges seem to erase the save files from illegal GBA games.

I had a similar problem whenever I migrated pokemon and went to catch them the game would freeze up.
but for your problem, i'm going to have to agree with Smarties. |
Its a real because I bought it from ASDA

xD I remember my cousin buying a black catridge crystal version in hong kong, and it couldn't save...she got ripped. And yea, it's most likely your game is fake. |
I've never hacked any of my games. What colour should the cartridges be?

Ruby: a see-through ruby colour
Sapphire: same as ruby exept Sapphire Emerald: same as Ruby exept Emerald Fr/LG: don't know D/P: black |

Well, Emerald is fine. :D I know for sure now that Sapphire and Ruby are fake, but that doesn't matter cause I've got Emerald. My FireRed is a sort of deepish see-through red and it gets deleted. Is it fake too?
Edit: Noes! Saving Diamond made Emerald go bye-bye. Now I need to replace all my games. >: ( |

The FireRed looks fake, I don't believe the original carts are that transparent. Is the FireRed label shiny?
If you've already obtained a National Dex in Diamond, put a cart in Slot-2, at the menu (where it asks if you wish to Continue, New Game... etc) if there is another option to 'Migrate from ...' then it's more likely that the game may be real. Poorly iminitated cartridges won't even register. |
It's glossy, but not like a hologram shiny.

Fire Red and Ruby are definitely fake. A real Fire Red cartridge is orange-ish and yours is exactly the same as a real Ruby cartridge's should be. Your Ruby's cartridge is black so it's definitely a fake. Real cartridges don't have a picture of Groudon on them. The Emerald cartridge. I'm not sure if it depends on the region, but my cartridge has the ''The Pokémon company'' text above the nintendo logo and it has no ''E'' symbol on it. But again, I don't know if that depends on the region.
