Clefable

Ok im in a bit of a situation here, i dont have a good special wall.

I was thinking

[email protected]
Calm Nature
Ability: Magic Guard
252 Hp 252 Sp. Def 6 Sp. Att
- Wish
- Light Screen
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt/Thunderwave

Is this ok to act as a special wall in the standard meta game?

If not, please suggest another Special wall thats not Blissey ?

Thats a good moveset for Clefable.

Other Sp. Walls include

Milotic
Dusknoir
Probopass
Tentacruel (My wall of choice)
Meganium

Brozong + Light Sreen may suffice.

i personally love the following set:

Clefable @ Chople Berry
Bold Nature
Ability: Magic Guard
212 HP/180 DEF/44 SPD/72 SP ATK
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Calm Mind
-Softboiled

such a beast. it comes into battle, has a pre-stall war, and when the opponent notices they should probably switch, they bring in something with Close Combat to scare it away. your clefable should have at least 2 CMs before attempting to take down something with a fighting attack. so, once they use close combat, it survives it, and OHKOs the idiot with boltbeam. if it's something like Hitmonlee who has collossal sp defense and is usually used for his sp defense, don't even bother, but after 2 CMs, it should be able to take out things that aren't prepared for surviving hits.

i also love it because magic guard lets it take burn + poison for the team, and furthermore, allows it to take in other any statuses.

go with togekiss trained in sp. atk and sp. def.

or with the non uber legend cresselia, she's pretty good at walling.

eros225 August 31st, 2007 8:36 AM

cresselia just sits there waiting to get sweeped...bad offensive movepool to be an efficient wall

you could use this ev spread for milotic, i've never raised/used one myslef so maybe someone can correct me

bold nature
200 DEF/200SP DEF/102 HP

ice beam/psychic/reflect/moonlight is not too bad of a moveset, that sweeps most things away, maybe you could get a good HP on it and then switch reflect for Energy ball if you needed.
