My Pokemon Diamond Team
I think i've followedt he rules here. this is new to me but......
I am currently in victory road. The purpose of my team is basicaly to get there without fail then switch our my Uxie for My Medicham. I hope I havnt broken any rules here. Im deeply sorry if i have. |
you're gonna need strength to get through victory road
there's boulders in another room |
I have strength. I listed it.
|
delete cut from diagla :)
|
Yeh I totally wanted to get rid of cut from dialga too but empolenon was the only other who could learn it and hes my fire or should i say waterpower of the team. dialga has plenty good moves so i thought i could get away with it.
|
oops.. lol nvm
anyway, u're gonna need to train your team a lot more or else u'll be in big trouble the champion has pokemon up to lv.66 staraptor will be good for the first guy, then empoleon for the second, though i suggest getting someone with grass type moves since two pokemon are water/ground type you'll probably need someone with earthquake for the third one, and an ice or electric attack haunter will be good for the fourth one and the champion uses spiritomb, garchomp, gastrodon, milotic, roserade, and lucario so you'll need a strong pokemon for spiritomb, ice attack for garchomp, grass attack for gastrodon, electric attack for milotic, fire or psychic for roserade, and ground or fire for lucario |
well my sister manaaged to do with highest pokemon of lvl 53. so i think i can do it. magnitude is alot like earthquake right?
now i can beat the champs lucario but looks lime im in trouble for his others eh? |
magnitude is only a little bit like earthquake in that it's physical and is ground
earthquake has a base attack of 100, while magnitude can get u 10, 30, 50, 70, 110 and 150 so most of the time you'll end up with an attack power of less than earthquake but if you don't have a pokemon that naturally learns earthquake, then i guess mag's ok |
oh wow i didnt know that. im so stupid, my graveller was going to learn that but i stopped it. if the chance comes again ill teach it that.
|
you can go to the town where the safari zone is
the move relearner is in the house near the water there and can reteach pokemon's forgotten moves for a heart scale |
a heart scale? im sure i dont have one of them, do you know where to find that?
|
i think... you can find one above ground somewhere but i don't remember where
for more you have to dig in the underground |
Luvdiscs hold heartscales.
|
ok. maybe as my graveller levels up more it might naturally want to relearn it. i'll just have to wait and see. thanks for the help all.
oh yes once i get my medicham on team it should be powerful against roserade. |
I'd recommend a Luxray or/and maybe Sneasel since you don't have any dark or ice type moves in your party. I found Lucario to be very useful as well
And about your levels, I beat them with my highest being a Level 56 Infernape |
here's what you should do:
Train Staraptor up, he alone can beat Aaron Get any good grass type, Then you can wipe Bertha Your Empoleon is a Hm slave, remove Dive and Rock climb, add Ice beam and probaly somthing else Make sure that you train Haunter up in speed and Sp.Atk, then you can beat Lucian with shadow ball After you beat the first 4 members, come back here and tell me your team |
lol, my strongest was lvl 53 when i beat the elite four, too. anyways, you might want to teach your empoleon an ice type move like ice beam or blizzard to beat Garchomp (I beat it with my lvl 53 torterra with like 2 earthquakes) anyways, good luck!
|
My team will KO your team so bad
|
You may want to evolve your graveler and haunter. I believe that you can force it without a trade using GTS. Just deposit your pokemon, ask for something ridiculous (so that you don't have it actually traded), then take it back. It should evolve. Though I traded for a pokemon when I did this, so I'm not too keen on all the specifics of this.
|
Knight, your post was completely off-topic and doesn't help the thread starter in any way. If you don't have any constructive criticism or help to give, don't post at all.
|
Thanks smarties. With levels yeh Im not too worried about training up. Problem is I dont have any Ice Attacks and I really want one. What number of TM is it? I dont think I can remove HMS until ypu've beat the game? I suppose I could rid myself of Aqua Jet.....
Hey I have avalanche will this do any good for Empoleon if it can learn it? EDIT: Just defeated Aaron. I wish I had done some training. Thta is the bets pokemon battle I have ever had in my life. Staraptor owned the first two but was knocked about when he sent out Drapion. Dialga knocked him out and suprisingly Heracross beat my Dialga. Every single other pokemon was fainted until I got to my last I used a revive for Dialga and defeated him. Then came that nasty Vespiqen. I dont understand but everytime I used a move the PP went down by 2 instead of 1. Now y Dialga was out of PP and Vespiqen was constantly healing, got its defense stats up to the top and slowly put my life down. I then revived Staraptor and a mircacle happened. That Vespiqen ran out of PP and used Struggle. I finished Vespiqen of with Fly. Then Staraptor owned the Beatiuafly thing. |

Avalanche would be good on Empoleon I guess, but just think you only have one of them. You can get Ice Beam if you have 10,000 coins at the game corner which is an awesome move. You can also buy TM Blizzard at Veilstone Department Store for something cheap. Heracross defeated Dialga because Dialga is part steel, and Heracross most likely used Close Combat, am I right? The reason your PP went down 2 instead of 1 is because whatever Pokemon you were facing at the time had th ability 'Pressure' which makes your Pokemon use up twice as many PP. For Vespiquen and Beautifly, I'd recommend an electric type, preferably Luxray. When I battled Aaron, I used Infernape to destory all of his team apart from Drapion, then I had Graveler use EQ to beat him. If you are having problems against Aaron (which you are) then I'd recommend some more levelling up. |
yeah, i used starptor to own all of those guys, when he's about to send in Drapion, switch to Graveler, and use earthquake, that will K-O him, then just send out Staraptor again
|
I just realised that Graveller and Haunter dont evolve unless you trade. Im not doing that.
Ok I struggled against the first guy Aaaron as I said but I owned the next two. Sadly I got blasted by Lucian or whatever his name is. I just wish I had earthquake. Will have to find a way. Yeh I might take a visit to Canalave. I dont like the game corner, im awful at those slot things. Yeh it used Close Combat. I hate that. I did great against Aaaron except for that wretched Vespiqen. I dont like it. Im training a bit for when I go back against Lucian. Shame I dont have an electric type, i have electic moves, see if i can teach anyone them. Thanks for the help dudes. |
