DAY CARE
just a small question:
if you put a Pokemon into the day care centre after it's been EV trained for it to reach L100, are there any drawbacks? will the pokemon just level up as normal, like it would through training, or will it's stats not be as high when it reaches L100? thanks in advance. |
Edit: I misread your post. In D/P for Wi-Fi battle you don't need to have at at level 100, because it'll calculate the EVs, but if you want to train it that high than no, don't use Day Care. Just have it go through the E4 and Rival Battles holding a Lucky Egg or Exp Share and it should be 100 in no time.

hm, maybe I worded it wrong "/
I meant will it make any difference whether you train it or put it into day care after you've EV trained? will there be any difference between the stats ONCE it's reached level 100. sorry. |
Once a Pokemon reaches level 100 the stats will not be changed, but putting an EV'd Pokemon in the Day Care that is not Lv 100 is just like rare candies, it doesn't get the stat boosts it normally would if you trained it the regular way.
