Mini draft(new team help) =)

Me and 3 of my friends decided to put our current teams together in a pool..And draft our new pokemon one by one our new teams and battle each other.

I need about a week or 2 to breed everything so we can begin our mini tournament.

My friends had
1) electivire, swampert, steelix, gengar, salamence, milotic
2) breloom, togekiss, claydol, magnezone, ninjask, tyranitar
3) garchomp, infernape, skarmory, weezing, gardevoir, heracross

I ended up having
alakazam
scizor
blissey
dragonite
dusknoir
bronzong

Sooo do I have pretty good shot at doing some damage here?
I just need movesets/ev spreads for dragonite, dusknoir and bronzong.

I hope you mean Ice Punch cause its Special Attack sucks.

I use Shadow Punch though

Dragonite
Jolly nature
252 Atk/ 252 Spd/ 6 Hp
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Thunder Puch
Wing Attack

That's the Dragonite I use..

Jolly Nature to help you outrun a potential icebeam

Wing attack because it does everything fire punch does, gets STAB, and it also takes out fighting types. The only thing Fire Punch has over it is that it's super effective against ice types, which you aren't fighting according to your list. If you're using Dragonite after this, it's really your call I guess.

Well i tried to make it a team as best i could using the Pokemon you have into a basic set up to fill roles.

This looks pretty good actually, its quite well balanced apart from a fire weakness, in Bronzong and Scizor, so just be careful of that, and the Ghost/Dark weakness in Alakazam and Dusknoir, you also lack a water move.

... DD Gyarados with this Moveset :
-Ice Fang
-Earthquake
-Waterfall
-Dragon Dance(no duh lol)

will be a mess to your team, try inserting a Focus Sash Pokemon with an Electric move.

Azonic September 8th, 2007 1:13 PM

Taunt DDdos is more scary. It completely stops Skarmory in its tracks.

Im only saying because this team does NOT carry a Skarm lol

Azonic September 8th, 2007 3:08 PM

You misunderstood. Taunt DDdos stops the opponents Skarmory and many other defensive pokemon, its a great way to get rid of Physical Walls.

Yay! New sig.

Well... few physical walls like Steelix would rather attack then use defensive moves, but I DO see where you're going, in fact, I have a Gyarados with Taunt
