The guy in the museum wants pictures of your pokemon, and a painter will offer you one when you win a contest in the biggest rank there in Lilycove. Get five paintings (one for each category) and you will get an archievement star. You get one formaking big archievements: beating the league, completing the national dex, winning the contests and beating the Battle tower.
And the tiles in that cave change each 6 hours. With low tile, you can get shoal salt, and with high tile, you can get shoal shells. Get three of them and the guy will make a shoal bell, which recovers 1/8 part of the damage done for the pokemon holding it during a battle.

shell bell not shoal and by beating the battle tower do you mean all ranks or fast times

Shoal Cave is so easy to miss entirely. That's a shame too, because it's one of the few areas in the game you can actually catch decent Ice-type Pokemon.

What are the Pokemon i can catch there?

Tahnks for the help =p

You can catch spheal and snorunt there.

Snorunt can be found on the bottom floor of the cave, in the icy cavern.
It's a bit rare, though.

What are the rewards for doing battle tower?

Thanks =p

Tanooki September 14th, 2007 9:48 PM

A bunch of stuff for your trainer card. Nothing too spectacular though: their called "shields" or something of that matter, which signify how many battles you won total in the Battle Tower.

You might get a bigger prize for beating the whole Tower, but I never did it myself, so I don't know.

Thanks for all the help and information =p
Helped me greatly.

If you beat all the contests (in Emerald, at least) the museum guy gives you a decoratin called glass statue. Took me forever.
