its +10 % on one stat and - 10 % on another, unless its a neutral nature, but they suck.

Try to get a nature that will be benefiting the Pokemon as of which moves it uses and what its role will be.

this should help you with what stats they raise

EDIT:the two people above me beat me to it XD

I also wanna add to this post. Neutral natures suck. You shouldn't be afraid to take out of one stat, that you won't be using, and give to a stat that you will use. Like Lucario. People sometimes use it as a mixed sweeper. Can't lose sp.atk, can't lose atk, so neutral seems reasonable. It's not. Give him a speed + nature, or something like that.

Or you can always just take away defenses...sweepers aren't really meant to take hits anyways.

El Gofre September 13th, 2007 10:23 AM

how did u all know i was gonna use lucario lol

Anti September 13th, 2007 10:30 AM

Uh, we didn't. What are you gonna use? Special, physical, or mixed sweeper? It can be any of those...

El Gofre September 13th, 2007 10:43 AM

Im probs gonna go with mixed, the majority of fighting moves are physical and the best steel it can get (flash cannon) is special. any advice toward moveset/EV split?

J.M. September 13th, 2007 11:45 AM

It depends on what you want to use Lucario for. I'd definitely go with speed as starters. Now if you want it to be a physical sweeper then ev in attack, if you want it to be a special sweeper then do it in sp. atk. If you want mixed spread them over the attack.

Speed is a must though
