Chaining problems
I can't remember how long ago it was, but I was chaining Roselia. I forgot about their Poison Point ability, and my Pokemon got poisoned. When I returned to the overworld, the chain broke. I thought it was because of the poisoning, and didn't put much more thought into it. I had 21 Roselia in my chain.
Now then, recently I was chaining Absol, and suddenly after I had defeated one, the chain didn't continue. It didn't even say "the grassy patches remained silent". I checked the touch screen, and I had 21 Absols chained. What's going on? |
Look at your Poketch before you step into a patch, if the Pokemon's icon vanishes, the chain broke... (which can do it on it's own species for some reason...) and if it stays the chain will continue, just keep trying I've been having my luck recently of no shinies (minus Meditite, but he wasn't because of a Shiny Patch he just kinda popped up while I went into what shook like a normal patch.)
