Cloning.

I need to know how to clone in Emerald. Also, I know what Items are good for the E4, (Please newbies, I said I knew, don't say them X Accuracy for the Stats Decreasers, X speed, Elixer, and Full Restores). I need to know where they are, and I know where Full Restore is, just need to know how to save some money up for it. Which i've got a solution for, Amulet Coin, where is Amulet Coin's location?

I can help you with the cloning problem. :D

To clone one of your pokemon, first withdraw it from the PC if it isn't already in your party.
Then save in front of the PC for safety, then deposit the chosen pokemon in a EMPTY box and leave the PC.
Save again and go and withdraw your chosen pokemon.
After you withdraw the pokemon go and talk to the closest lady at a counter.
Continue the conversation intill she asks you if it is ok to save, say yes and it will come up with the normal save menu.
Turn off your game now.
Now turn it back on, check your party and your PC. You should have the chosen pokemon in both your party and the box you put in the PC.
That is roughly how you do it.

Your mum (not a typo) will give you the amulet coin once you talk to her after receiving the 5th badge from Norman, a.k.a Dad

Be careful, some people have encountered problems cloning.

Like what? So far, it's cloned pretty well for me. Even clones items. You'll only encounter a problem with this cloning method if you screwed up a step(in which case you might end up deleting Pokemon instead of cloning them), otherwise it's safe, and according to Bulbapedia it's much safer then the D/P cloning method.

You could have checked the Emerald Faq because it has a section in it that explains how to clone.

Check out this thread, it may help you also.

And it does work.

I figured out how to clone in E. (Emerald. incase you didn't know). And therefore, I would like this Thread to either be closed, or to just let it die. I figured out so here, http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_cloning Bulbapedia is a trustful resource.
