(GTS) How do you search for pkmn u havent seen?

How do you search for pkmn u havent seen? Eg: I haven' seen ,mew so how do i search for it in GTS?

shalashaska September 28th, 2007 4:30 AM

well its quite simple.....you dont!

if you havnt see it, you can search for it

Neo Android September 28th, 2007 4:30 AM

You dont you can only search for pokemon that you have seen.

Znale September 28th, 2007 4:44 AM

The only Pokemon you're able to search from the GTS are the ones you have the data of.
Otherwise it would be too easy to gather all data to the Pokedex.

You can post a thread in the Wireless Trade Corner about you willing to get the data of Pokemon you need.

Well, I've heard most people use a Gameshark/Action Replay so that they can see the Pokemon their aiming to catch, this adds it to your Pokedex after all. But then again, if you had a Gameshark/AR, why on earth would you NEED to trade with anybody to get what you want?

And I suppose if you have a friend who has the Pokemon you want, you could ask him/her to battle you to get the data in your Pokedex.

I might not have D/P yet, but I sure hope Nintendo has a patch to fix this thing. This restricts trades not only for exclusive legendaries, but for regular Pokemon you wouldn't see in D/P as well.

Even it was possible Nintendo wouldn't do it.
This is not a bug it's by design
If Nintendo puts all the features to one game no one would by next gen :)

Pretty crappy design, then.

And it's their JOB to think up of new features, thats what helped them keep their pockets overflowing with money, ain't it?

Fixing up an old glitch/bug/whatever you wanna call it and placing it in a new game wouldn't make it a "new" feature, it would make a 5 year overdue patch .

Eh.. yeah, this is a pretty impossible question. You can't defy the laws of physics either, y'know.
