~*!*~THEY SHOULD HAVE PUT ____________ IN THE SINNOH DEX~*!*~

They should have putting all the new Pokemon in it. Giratina and Probopass were examples of new Pokemon that should have been in there right. Anyways what do you think of what Pokemon should of been in there?

Giratina, yeah, because I'm wondering how they'll make a third Sinnoh game about Giratina if it's not even in the Sinnoh Dex. As for the others, it's the same for me, because nobody uses the Sinnoh Dex after they get the National Dex.

A lot more Fire types... I wish Pokemon Company would work on new Pokemon without making 40 million water Pokemon types each game... seriously... that's the most abundant of all types...

I think all of the new pokemon should have been in the Sinnoh dex. It is interesting to wonder how they would make a third game since Giratina or any other Pokemon the may base the game off of.

Unless of course they went with the of the three psychic Pokemon, most likely Mesprit.

I agree. The fact that certain Pokemon can only be obtained in Sinnoh (Probopass, Magnezone, Froslass, etc) should mean they would be part of the Sinnoh Pokedex. However, they decided to limit what was available, which doesn't make a lot of sense.

For instance, you have recurring Pokemon which seem to appear in almost every version naturally (Pikachu is a prime example). As for the limit on the Pokedex, IIRC Hoenn's Dex has 200 (well 202 if you count Deoxys and Jirachi), so it's not beyond the means to have stuff that would evolve into the newer evolutions occuring wild before obtaining the National Pokedex (I'm talking about stuff like Nosepass, Elekid, Snorunt, Swinub, etc). I remember when completing the basic Dex was a challenge, but now getting the National Dex requires very little effort at all (first time around I missed Drifloon, but that was the only hard part for me about completing the Sinnoh Dex. In fact, it wasn't even hard at all I just had to wait for a Friday).

I can kind of understand why they've made completing the Sinnoh Dex easier (get more people onto WiFi and so on), but as for me, I like the challenge. D/P has become easier in my opinion than the previous generation (and a heck of a lot slower battles), so it's time for GF to pull their finger out and give us a challenge once again.

It would be logical if every single new Pokemon would be inserted in the Sinnoh Dex. But that makes it extremely hard to complete the Sinnoh Dex, even if the old Kanto/Johto/Hoenn Pokemon would be removed. Then Trainers along the way to Pokemon League should use Pokemon like Probopass, Electivire, Togekiss and other Pokemon you normally wouldn't see without actually raising them yourself. For example, if you don't have any access to the Wi-Fi or just cannot trade with another person, how could you get the data of let's say, Golem, without Trainer battles.

I don't think they should even bother with a National Pokedex, one of the best things about Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal. But atleast they didn't make it so you couldn't get national dex Pokemon before getting the national dex. (Trading eggs makes a lot of sense.) But I guess they do put enough Pokemon in that allows you to complete the game.

In all honesty i would of love to have had a better choice of fire pokemon than either chimchar or ponyta, but im guessing they thought they would rectify that by allowing us to migrate our pokemon over from the GBA games. Im glad there were alot more ghost pokemon this time around. So its a win-lose win win situation.

oh yeah fire types hardcore
