Q about bumpig your own thread

Let's say you have asked a question, and someone else answered the best they could but it didn't help your problem any. Then you replied to thank them but say you're still having the same problem. Then nobody replies thinking your question was already answered.

If it gets to be a month old and you're still needing to have your question answerd, are you allowed to bump it?

If it's over a month, nope, create a new thread to re-ask the question.

Usually you'll find a number of people view the thread regardless of it being answered or not and give their own opinion on it. Now, if it wasn't answered again, then you could always go for the "clean" bump to save it from the "1 month old" rule. Just delete the post that you did last and repost a new post before the month is up.

Otherwise like Nica said, just repost it in a new thread to grab everyone's attention to answer it.
