the best two pokemon on the same team for a double battle?
dragonite and tyranitor.
wot do u guys think? |
tyranitar and cradily. >:3 Cradily is absolutely evil on a sandstorm team.
|
Hmm I dunno Im thinking any pokes with Earthquake and the other poke must either be flying type or with the levitate ability.
|
yeah
yeah.. i agree with lumine.. pidgeot.. maybe.. or a legendary bird..
|
There's a load of ways you can take advantage of a doublr battle situation, including the Levitate/Flying type/Protect and Earthquake combo. Me? I'm trying to beat Pokémon Colosseum (to get MATTLE Ho-oh) and Raikou and Suicune have a nice one: Raikou Rain Dances, Suicune uses Surf. Next turn, Raikou uses Thunder, Suicune Surfs again. (If Raikou wasn't faster, I'd have Suicune Rain Dance.)
|
Exeggutor and Moltres make a mean Solarbeam.
|
eh...
rite...
u know who else works well together? ANYBODY?? |
this is just a thought
garchomp and gengar two fast sweepers, one special and one physical garchomp gets a STABed EQ qhile gengar resists it and inflicts sleep |
A few favourites of mine include:
Two Pokemon with Earthquake and either Levitate or the Flying Type. (ie Salamence & Aerodactyl) Pokemon with Volt Absorb and Surf and Pokemon with Water Absorb & Thunderbolt. (ie Lanturn & Lapras/Quagsire) :D Electivire & Pokemon with Thunderbolt. Rapidash & Pokemon with Flamethrower. Pokemon with Surf and Dry Skin Toxicroak. :D Pokemon with Follow Me and fast Baton Passer (ie Ninjask & Clefable). And for in-game: Smeragle with Sketch and Pokemon with move Smeargle wants Sketch'ed. XD |
Well i have some double battle Greatnesses:
First i have Charizard and Clefable: Charizard @Salac Berry Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) -Earthquake -Aerial Ace -Substitute -Belly Drum Clefable @Leftovers Bold Nature (+Def, -SAtk) -Follow Me -Softboiled -Protect -Thunder Wave Takes two turns to set up, but it's nearly unstoppable once you are ready. Make sure Charizard's HP is divisible by 4 so that Salac Berry activates after your Belly Drum Or Medicham and Stantler: This is also really cool Medicham @Salac Berry Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) -Fake Out -Reversal -Endure -Rock Slide Stantler @Lum Berry Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) -Role Play -Return -Earthquake -Shadow Ball Have Medicham Fake Out while Stantler Role Plays Pure Power to double its own Attack. Then Earthquake if needed to get Medicham ready to Reversal. Also i have videos of these battles Charizard and Clefable Medicham and Stantler -Amso- |
Yeah. My one is unstopable!!!
Empoleon - Luxray They make a great team. Mine are both EV trained, ones only like LV.60 whilst the other is LV.93 so yeah. Whenever (IF EVER) Luxray gets hurt and is in the orange/red then Empoleon can heal it, 'cause not much hurts Empoleon anyway. They are both badass pokemon, so you know. I love the Team :) |
a mew with transform and a darkai with dark void and roar of and dream eater
use transfior on your darkrai to have to of them and have your darkrai use dark void ( put bot the other pokemon to sleep) Then have them both use dream eater. Then through out the battle use roar of time but NEVER use rar of time with both od them the same turn It works nicely |
Please, strategy discussion goes in Strategies & Movesets.

Any goos user would just switch out and make dream eater useless. |
Togekiss and Tyranitar/Salamence Dragon Dance
Dusknoir with Imprison Earthquake|Brick Break and Exploding Pokemon |
Gengar and Mewtwo. A Ghost-Psychic team is almost unbeatable when trained properly.
Gengar would use Shadow Ball, while Mewtwo uses Psychic. Which would be well over great on the offense side of things. |
Quote:
That makes no sense. Hello? Mewtwo is uber...and houndoom walls this idea. TTar walls this idea. Heck, weavile can absorb those hits! they have terrible coverage. The only way this strategy would work (ironically) is if they were attacking each other :/ |
...................... Walled by Blissey my good friend
Ghost-Psychic team lives in fear of Spiritomb and even Shedinja Shadow Sneak |
um
Blastoise and Charazard are pretty good
|
Any supporting reasons lord? =D I'd be happy to hear how they would make a good combo
|
well..
well.. about that.. read my sig.. name, you need to know something.. quickly PM me now!! its urgent..
as for y theyd be great? just cause |
blastoise and charizard? lol thunderbolt lol
anything with an electric attack that can stand a chance against the two (many pokemon BTW can achieve this) destroy t6he two :/ |
HEy Shiny Umbreon likes Pit, COOL! And Alakzam is CANADIAN LIKE ME! Sorry Im hyper... One good combo I just thought of, Forrestress and Dusknoir as a special wall. Explosion doesn;t hit Dusknoir if Forrestress uses it, spikes can help out, as well as Gyro Ball, and with Dusknoir Pain Spliting Forrestress and its opponent WHILE damagaing and Will"O:Wisping, what else is there to discuss?
|
what about lugia and ho-oh or dialga and palkia.
|
Tyranitar/Hippowdon and Garchomp
Abomasnow and something with Snow Clock (Mamoswine maybe) |
