#493 Arceus, the Alpha Pokémon. It shaped the universe with its thousands of arms. It was nicknamed the "Pokémon God" by many. Thanks to its Ability, Multitype, and a Plate for every type (besides Normal, which is what type Arceus is without any Plate held), it is easily more versatile than even Mew (who can learn all moves) and Deoxys (whose four different forms give it incredible versatility).

Yes, I'm aware there are eight Pokémon here, and a full party is limited to six. I'm not sure which six Arceus to use. I'm also not sure which Plates and moves to use, which is why (for six of these) I just put "Plate" as the held item. That's where you guys come in. This will eventually be a DS team, but don't let that limit your fixes.

For the forum rule sharks, this isn't built yet. I'm only planning ahead. Therefore, I'm not breaking rules.

THERE WILL BE NO FLAMING, SPAMMING, "YOU'RE A CHEATER" POSTS, "USE SOMETHING THAT MAKES THE GAME ACTUALLY FUN" POSTS, OR ANYTHING REMOTELY RESEMBLING THEM HERE!!! ANY SUCH POSTS WILL BE INSTANTLY REPORTED AS EITHER FLAMING, SPAMMING, OR TROLLING!!!!

Species Clause destroys this team.

yeah and not to mention modest is a terrible nature for mixed sweeping...

Waker of Chaos October 31st, 2007 12:49 PM

I don't play with clauses.

The team's here to be fixed, so instead of just saying "this Nature is horrible", say which Nature would be better.

There, that helps me. Thanks.

Ha, six Arceuses, and you don't play with clauses? Good luck finding someone to battle. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v634/Gamerman/Image%20Macros/yelwacko.gif

no one will battle you without clauses.

EDIT: Telling you the nature is bad DOES help :/

Go away now please, 'kay thanks. If you aren't going to help my team, then you're just spamming.

Again, you're only spamming if you aren't helping my team. And no, telling me the Nature is bad doesn't help, because I'd end up replacing it with an equally bad Nature.

shedinjask October 31st, 2007 1:01 PM

Stop giving no advice guys.

These look fine, but you should have Extremekiller as an option.

Aruseus @ Leftovers
204 HP/252 Attk/52 SDef -- Adamant
Swords Dance
Extremespeed
Shadow Claw
Recover

Excellent sweeper really.

EDIT by FG: don't use words that are censored by the word filter. I have removed the offending word. Do not do this again.

I suggest a bug Arceus to counter Mewtwo/Deoxys/Darkrai in ubers.

Just pointing out the truth. You should've expected this to happen...but oh well. Again, you have nearly all sweepers. Even if somebody DOES battle you, you aren't gonna win with 5 sweepers. In ubers, you're gonna have to be able to beat scarfed kyogre, specstwo, among others. Nothing on your team counters them :/

A Ghost-type Judgment (Spooky Plate) counters Psychic-types just as well as a Bug-Type Judgment (Insect Plate), and at least three of the Arceus have Focus Blast to kill Darkrai off. I don't think I need an Insect Plate here, but thanks.

I expect people to fix the team, not give a useless speech about metas and clauses. If you can't do that, don't play Pokémon.

Excellent sweeper really.

That's an interesting one. I'll add that to the first post, and see if a team of six can be formed to kill everything.

Anti October 31st, 2007 1:06 PM

you still need a counter for the dominant special sweepers of the uber class. that means adding blissey or something qualifies to take those hits.

See also Wall Arceus.

It's an Arceus team. I'm not using any Pokémon that isn't Arceus.

Faceless* October 31st, 2007 1:11 PM

Is this a Shoddy team or what?

Okay then...that limits me a bit here. Still, that one wall isn't gonna last. It'll shrug off a few hits and then watch as kyogre with water spout pwns you as well as specstwo. you need TWO walls, not just one.

I doubt it. Nobody on Shoddy ever plays without Clauses.

Please don't post here again.

Well, I'd rather not use two of the same Arceus.

Faceless* October 31st, 2007 1:13 PM

Hm

It is against the rules to post teams by Action Replay I believe, but your Physical Sweeper Arceus needs a Dark move

Except that I never said I had the team built already. In truth, I don't have even one Arceus, nor will I have one for a long time. I'm just planning ahead. Therefore, I'm not breaking any rules.

What Dark-type move would you suggest?

Two different walls :/

One should be special, while the other more mixed, which is your current one.

Faceless* October 31st, 2007 1:18 PM

Make it Lonely/Naughty and in place of Avalanche (because it requires you to ALWAYS go last =P) use Dark Pulse. It may be Special, but without that move, there will no be necessary way to take down the likes of Levitating Ghosts (and perhaps Mewtwo?)

Something like that, but with different moves, right?

It's a physical sweeper, so I'd require the move to be a physical one.

Faceless* October 31st, 2007 1:19 PM

That wall is walled by any Steel types =D
