A GOOD TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need your opinion I want to do a good pokemon team

Here is my starter pokemon: CHIMCHAR

So which pokemon can I put in my team to do a good team?

as you progress through the storyline, you'll be coming across a lot of guys, naturally....
since you have a fire pokemon, you won't have to rely on a Ponyta for fire....

Starly and Shinx will make great additions to your ingame team, they'll cover your flying and electric needs.... and later on, Shinx learns Crunch, Charge, Discharge... handy moves.... Staraptors learn Close Combat, which is very good for a bird....

if you need a defensive guy, gastrodons aren't too shabby, only weakness is its 4x to grass... and it's immune to electric...

For the record, anything can get you through the elite 4 if they're at a high enough level.

When you get a chance, get yourself a Gyarados. -ice fang, waterfall/aquatail, DD, return/EQ

Yessss. Ice fang is awesome. I loove Vampires and Ice and Gyarados and it fits! But really its an awesome move. especially the battle animation.

Actually, ice fang isnm't very common on gyarados :/

Archer, your set is fine, but it is REALLY outclassed by the standard tauntrados.

Gyarados @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 214 HP / 16 Atk / 180 Def / 100 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Taunt
- Waterfall / Ice Fang / Stone Edge

No matter what you choose for the last slot, you need EQ or electric types have a MUCH BETTER shot at taking you down. Most can absorb waterfall or ice fang on the switch, but EQ is a different story.

Waterfall gives you amazing power, while ice fang gives you tremendous coverage, especially against dragons.

Actually, most Electric types falls to most of Gya's moves. They are pretty fragile.

Good point. Still, the ones that AREN'T fragile will maker you wish you had EQ :) Plus, it has all-aroung good coverage and tremendous power. I think it's necessary to be honest. Even the fargile ones can survive waterfall with adamant and a mere 16 attack EVs. Not by much, but...the beaties of DD show here, though.
