Well, for your infernape and salamence you will need to give them as MUCH speed as possible...its better. As for your cloyster, id say its ok.Mismaguis is ok.As for spiritomg id say distribute the evs like that^there. And id say stick in Calm Mind over HP Ice.
Well i hope i helped.

Well The reason i distributed spiritomb's EV's the way they were is becuz i want him to be more physical walling, while bronzong is dual(his typing helps take the special hits) Mismagius is the special sweepin' monster with a come from behind grass atk, ive tried it and it has killed many-a-swampert. And i like HP(dragon) mainly because well it hits bout everything.

And u rly think salamence shuld be timid with choice specs??

ThePlaya November 6th, 2007 9:21 PM

Choice Specs(Sp.Attack right??).if it is for Sp.Attack id say yes(go for timid) because other pokes would outrun you easier and with choice specs you will already get the Sp.Attack boost that it needs....Well whatever works for you.

And as for Spirtomb you already have Salamence and Mismaguis so you should take advantage of Spiritbomb's no weaknesses and put him for walling both Sp.Attacks and Attacks.

You make a good point..okay, salamence to timid, good thing i only made 1/6 of the pokes lol.

And for spiritomb, maybe i'll distribute his EV's more toward sp. atk becuz with will-o-wisp the opp.'s atk is halved..i think right?

ThePlaya November 6th, 2007 9:25 PM

Yes, your exactly right.
And now I have to go so bye.
Hope I helped:).

NessStar3000 November 6th, 2007 9:30 PM

I'd say Spiritomb would be your best tactical-advantage pokemon in your team, knowing that they have no type weakness. I also like how you gave noy one but two of your pokemon explosion. Hypnosis is an ideal move too. Your team is sure to have wins.

Iceman3k November 6th, 2007 9:41 PM

Seeing as I really don't feel like reading everything else...

I'm no good with Spiritomb Movesets. At least not yet anyway.
But I am smart enough to know that he requires some SDef EVs.

Replace this with Gengar since he does what Mismagius does, just better.

Watch out for Choice Scarfed Heatrans and Magmortars.
Also, your team is totally vulnerable to Status Effect abuse.

You're really asking that?

It;s when random WoWs, thunder waves and toxics fly at you and destroy your hopes at winning. that's why you need a heal beller.

A beller has to have either Heal bell or Aromatheraphy :/

Steelix ans Scizor cannot get either.

MegaDitto November 7th, 2007 1:44 PM

I'm not going to touch the natures but I would consider Hidden Power Ice over Hidden Power Dragon. It has more vestally and would do more damage to Salamence and Garchomp. If Dragon is the best you can get, or got now..then you might as well keep it.

-Relaxed
EV: 252 Hp, 112 Def, 144 SDef

-Will-o-Wisp
-Pain Split
-Pursuit
-Ominous Wind

If it is your lead, then this moveset would do well.....D:

[email protected] Life Orb
Jolly
EV: 252 Atk, 252 Speed
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Close Combat
-Overheat

If you are going to have a Life Orb sweeper, then you should make Jolly or it will be outspeed by a lot of pokemon.

Also, along with Overheat doing more damage than Flare Blitz and prevention of suicide.

Payback can actually work against a lot of pokemon in the game. Give it a try at least.

Specs-Mence isn't any more Original than the Standard Blisssey :/

There are soem REALLY obsure (and not recommended) Bellers. Mightyena, Chimecho, Ampharos, lapras, Dragonite, Vileplune, Roserade, Parasect, Lickilicky, Delcatty, Miltank, ect.

I dont rly predict well on a switch with spiritomb so id have to say HP dragon>pursuit. I like it on Bronzong tho. And i dont like overheat becuz it's a sp. atk and a STAB'd flare blitz would be better, let alone blaze kick.

If you can't predict, no moveset help is going to do you any good...and lol, flare blitz and life orb is just suicide...

there are other sets that use special attacks besides specsmence you know...like in 3rd gen, when therer was no choice specs.

The only ones i like from there are Dragonite Fails as a heal beller, Lickilicky lol, and Miltank more heracross weak :/

Plume is your best bet, though it's a UUer...

Lil MuDkiP849 November 7th, 2007 2:25 PM

what i meant by not predicting well on switching is with *spiritomb* himself, i didnt mean in general, i say it since he has no specific weakness and no specific strong point other then def., idk what the opp. would do.

And idk bout plume. It's slow and its hp/defenses suck and has mediocre def....i wont help me out when i face other teams so i dunno if it'd be consistant

luke November 7th, 2007 2:37 PM

lulz. Vileplume's Defenses don't suck. That's one of its strong points. Yes, it's slow, but with the right EV investment, it should do well. It might help to improve your prediction skills, or you're success in Wifi battling will be limited.

Azonic November 7th, 2007 2:42 PM

Overheat does more damage than Flare Blitz and Blaze Kick overall. Also, the Special Attack reduce won't matter since Infernape uses a physical sweeper moveset. Infernape will probably be switching out a lot too. So Overheat > Flare Blitz

EDIT: itz me! Penguinpal6! remember? 8D

Well i'm up for using vileplume since it's interesting, but i cant even begin on where to start with it soooo.....wana gimme a EV spread??? =)
