Which legendary Was Easiest To Catch For You?

I would just like to know because most people say its different pokemon.

Oni Link November 8th, 2007 3:38 PM

Palkia didn't really take me that long. I think it was just a few Quicks then Ultras.

EmpoleMew November 8th, 2007 3:40 PM

I know that out of experience, most people catch Dialga/Palkia as easily as a Lv. 2 Starly using an Ultra Ball. I feel sorry for everyone who listened to Nintendo and used the Master Ball. Giratina was exceptionally easy for me as well, I killed the first time but caught with one Dusk Ball the second time. Then Regigigas was easy and since it was the last one, I reset for a chalenge(sp?) Took me two days. Heatran was the hardest IMO, it took me a week. 50% of the time, it killed itself with Struggle lol. But I'm ranting here.

gotron228 November 8th, 2007 3:40 PM

I had to use masterball on Palkia because my last pokemon only had 1 hp left so I was stuck

Oni Link November 8th, 2007 3:42 PM

I also found Giratina pretty easy, but Heatran was a struggle to catch. sometimes, after you've thrown about a hundred Ultra Balls, you wonder if you're ever going to catch the Pokemon.

gotron228 November 8th, 2007 3:45 PM

I'm stuck with giratina right now ive got it health to red ive wasted all my ultra balls and my dusk balls are almost out

Oni Link November 8th, 2007 3:50 PM

apparently Palkia's/Dialga's catch-rate is 30, Giratina's is 3, and Heatran's is 3.
I don't know how to figure out the relativity of catch-rates, but I guess that means that Giratina and Heatran are ten times harder to catch than Palkia and Dialga?

EmpoleMew November 8th, 2007 3:58 PM

I'll agree on Heatran's capture rate but Giratina was easy for everyone I know to catch for a catch rate of 3. I was almost pushed into using my Master Ball on Heatran especially when it kept killing itself using Struggle. I was shocked when I caught Dialga so easily after having to reset like 3 times to beat Cyrus. (Which was a pain because you can't save after beating Mars and Jupiter)

Oni Link November 8th, 2007 4:02 PM

I'm sure gotron would beg to differ on the Giratina catch-rate theory EmpoloMew! :D
how's it going Gotron?

Lunux November 8th, 2007 4:06 PM

The easiest for me was cresslia. I look around for like 30 seconds, one the same route. I battle it and get it to 1 hp with one false swipe. Look for it again, find it. Battle it and spore, falls asleep, use quick ball, mine.

gotron228 November 8th, 2007 4:07 PM

well I was watching tv for a secend and I accidenty clicked the escape button sometimes I get pushed into reseting my game and starting over new. But Luckily i saved before beating giratina

Xoo November 8th, 2007 4:44 PM

For me it was Regigigas. It took, maybe, 5-8 Dusk Balls

gotron228 November 8th, 2007 4:45 PM

well i need one more regi for regigas

Nacon November 8th, 2007 5:34 PM

Palkia was easy for me, I threw a quick ball for fun, and got it... lol...

each one was relatively easy if you prepare yourself for the battle... the only ones I didn't have too much fun catching were the wanderers, like usual... but Cressllia and Mesprt weren't anywhere near as hard as catching Raikou or Entei w\o a Masterball...

gotron228 November 8th, 2007 5:50 PM

I know what you mean there lol

Shiny Umbreon November 8th, 2007 5:53 PM

Without counting Dialga or Palkia, who are very easy to catch, all of them are the same, except slightly easier or harder depending on the level. But catching is just luck. You can fail a lot of times even when it's asleep at 1 HP and you use an Ultra Ball.

gotron228 November 8th, 2007 6:08 PM

good point there im still trying to get this ****ing giratina

gotron, beware with the language. You can get a warning for that.

Lunux November 8th, 2007 6:37 PM

Dusk balls work the best. especailly with almost every legendary(which are in caves) at night. it works lots. never use timer balls they suck!

Hooh4ever November 8th, 2007 6:59 PM

wow...
This topic sounds fun
For me the easiest was Dialga
because i just used a masterball xD
the hardest was heatran
It took me like 40 minutes to catch it.......

Saito November 8th, 2007 7:40 PM

Palkia/DIalga is very easy to be caught.I use 2 ultra ball to catch it

shoohoo88798 November 8th, 2007 8:23 PM

i used no ar or gs just weakend my dialga with false swipe then threw a dusk ball at night, and at a cave, and with only one,i caught it.Is that rare,or just plain luck?

gotron228 November 8th, 2007 9:16 PM

sorry umbreon

and I got my masterball back yay! because I miagrated with it attached to a kyorgre

Azonic November 9th, 2007 3:38 PM

Well, in Diamond and Pearl, I caught Giratina fairly easily with my third Dusk Ball.

On all the games, it was Zapdos when I caught it with one Ultra Ball. Though it was Frozen and had 1 HP left.

Pokemonian November 9th, 2007 3:57 PM

GIRATINA. YES. Since it only used Heal Block like 79% of the time, my low lvl Roserade put it to sleep. With its health to red and its deep sleep, took like 3-5 Ultra Balls?.. Yeah :P Since it took like 3 min to get to him, I had a guide, by looking at the whole map, then seeing which is unbalanced.
