If you don't have Seismic Toss on Blissey, then its always BoltBeam. No Flamethrower.

luke November 12th, 2007 12:00 PM

Weavile wea -- Sorry, but it's true. I don't see it 6-0ing your team, but I can see it doing considerable damage to you. I like your Zapdos set-up. It's schmexy. Overall it's good, but honestly, watch out for Weavile.

Samson November 12th, 2007 12:04 PM

nice team.

your breloom has like the exact same ev spread as mine. i'd get rid of focus punch and replace it with protect. if you're going to use breloom as a starter, then you need to protect it from status so that toxic orb can activate.

i like the zapdos, but it makes it too easy for blissey to come in and twave before you roar it away. you may want to give zapdos lum berry.

give dusknoir brick break. gives you better advantage over your weavile weak and having two fire moves on dusknoir is no good. you're making it quite easy for other heatrans with this team.

Anti-Rapid Spin? You don't have Spikes/Stealth Rock.

Ehhh...../facepalm.

I'ma go edit that. >_>

boo836 November 12th, 2007 1:48 PM

Why do you have a pic of happiny? But anyways rapid spin on starmie makes me happy. But flamethrower->fire blast because you get stab and flamethrower has more accuracy.

Rapid Spin = Choice Specs void. =(

If you do put Rapid Spin on Starmie, use Leftovers or Life Orb instead.

boo836 November 12th, 2007 1:56 PM

Oops didn't see specs there but yeah thanks for correcting me.

flamehaze94 November 12th, 2007 3:00 PM

Happiny is cuter! <3

I don't have problems with Toxic Spikes because Zapdos, Heatran, and Brellom aren't affected by it and Starmie and Blissey have Natural Cure. Stealth Rock won't be much of a problem because only one is hit SE on it. Spikes is meh.

Fire Blast has more powa and 85 acc. isn't that bad. ;]

This is more of a general comment: why would you nickname your Heatran 'Scarftran' ? Isn't that just giving away your strategy with him?

That's a pretty funny story, I once used that Heatran for something else, then I switched to Scarf, I'm just too lazy to change it back >_<.

Edit: It could work as reverse-psychology.........I really don't know...

Sora_8920 November 12th, 2007 4:46 PM

Breloom is more along the lines of:

Breloom @ Toxic Orb (M)
Trait: Poison Heal
Jolly Nature (+Spd, SAtk)
- Seed Bomb
- Focus Punch
- Spore
- Leech Seed...

Faceless* November 12th, 2007 4:48 PM

Lol, I see Itachi is back =)

Mach Punch lead is actually quite efficient, I used it before, but good luck with Salamence and Gengar leads =P

evilcheese November 12th, 2007 4:50 PM

try the subsitute focus punch combo for breloom

Actually, Spore is for pretty much doing the same Job. Setting up. And Sub is for doing the same thing. They both work.

*cough sleep clause cough*

that's why I use both ;) while they switch, set up a sub and WHAM. HP ghost is what I usually run for the last slot.

Arsibiyez November 13th, 2007 1:38 AM

Stone Edge / Rock Slide Breloom makes for Anti-Flying/Fire.

Hidden Power on a Breloom? I can see why Breloom would need a Ghost-type move, but I doubt Hidden Power will be effective. Breloom's got lol base SAtk. And with Adamant Nature, the SAtk gets pushed to hell.

Breloom can also have Lefties and absorb Toxic (Spikes) for double HP regen. Combine that with Leech Seed, and.... ;)

EDIT: Go for Jolly Breloom. Trust me on this. <.<
EDIT2: Novelty Breloom: Spore, Swords Dance, Seed Bomb, WAKE-UP SLAP <-- hilarious, but incredibly strong. 180 power including STAB and special effect. OHKO's stuff. Lol.

Anti November 13th, 2007 1:49 PM

Eh. hidden power is physical in ADV. I guess stone edge would have to do in D/P.

Angelic Diablo November 13th, 2007 1:55 PM

I thought Hidden Power was either Physical or Special depending what type it became... Because my Electrode used HP Ice well in 3rd Gen, and his attack was poor

Anti November 13th, 2007 2:52 PM

ah, HP ghost is physical in ADV ;) My mistake.
