REVENGE OF THE POOPYMONSTERS

now, i expect you all to take this team very seriously. thank you.

Jumpluff @ Wide Lens
Jolly Nature
252 SPD/252 HP/4 DEF
-U-turn
-Sleep Powder
-Encore/Stun Spore
-Reflect

Magcargo @ Wide Lens/Shuca Berry (lol)
Relaxed Nature
252 HP/160 DEF/64 SP ATK/32 ATK
Ability: Flame Body
-Fire Blast/Flamethrower
-Explosion
-Will-O-Wisp
-Substitute

Pelipper @ Choice Specs
Modest Nature
252 HP/144 SP ATK/112 DEF
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Shock Wave
-Roost/Knock Off

Beedrill @ Custap Berry
Adamant/Jolly Nature
252 ATK/252 SPD/4 SP DEF
-X-Scissor
-Aerial Ace
-Brick Break
-Endure

Gastrodon @ Leftovers/Lum Berry
Relaxed Nature
216 HP/244 DEF/48 ATK
-Surf
-Earthquake
-Stockpile
-Recover

---------------------------

now here's where i'm having some difficulties for a last member:

Smeargle @ Salac Berry
Jolly Nature
252 SPD/252 HP/4 SP DEF
-Spore (duh)
-Belly Drum
-Baton Pass
-Substitute/Taunt

eh, i think smeargle is cute and all, but i'm so not fond of how bad its defenses are. i only want it for Beedrill, who i absolutely adore ^.^, and also, it has that glaring fighting weakness and is vulnerable to EQ, so it fit in.

problem is that it's obviously going to be walled by phazers, making it completely useless. so i thought of a few other options:

Chatot @ Choice Scarf
Naive Nature
144 SP ATK/176 ATK/188 SPD
-Hyper Voice/Night Shade
-Chatter/Night Shade
-U-turn
-Encore/Taunt

a QT

Mawile @ Custap Berry
Adamant Nature
252 ATK/116 HP/140 SPD
-Crunch/Sucker Punch
-Brick Break
-Swords Dance
-Endure

yeah, if it looks like poop, then it probably is poop.

Ditto @ Quick Powder
Naive Nature
252 SPD/252 HP/4 DEF
-Transform

lol... i haven't tested this yet, but i believe that ditto copies the sp atk/atk/def/sp def stats of what it turns into, but keeps its HP and speed. this would definitely be fun to try tho lol

Spinda @ Choice Scarf
Jolly Nature
252 SPD/????? (ATK vs HP vs SP ATK)
-Teeter Dance
-Hypnosis/Trick/Shadow Ball/Water Pulse
-Encore/Trick
-Return/Facade

or

Spinda @ Choice Band/Focus Sash
Adamant Nature
252 ATK/252 SPD/4 HP
-Fake Out
-Suckerpunch
-Brick Break/Facade/Protect
-Trick Room/Faint Attack/Encore

another QT. fake out + suckerpunch is a given. if CB, go with brick break/faint attack. if focus sash, trick room/encore. i dunno, this one is all experimentation.

so what do you guys suggest? do note that this team is not necessarily competitive. just a fun little team.

Probably refering to the fact the pokemon are almost all NU. Maybe not though :0

EDIT: Oh yeah, the team. I personally would put the CB spinda in the last slot.

Jumpluff : I'd go for Stun Spore. You could try Memento to help Smeargle get an easier Belly Drum, although you probably better off using Linoone.

Magcargo : idk BOOM on it? =\ with 50 base atk this is rather laughable. Try Stealth Rock instead. Again, Memento (probably will fit better on him than Jumpluff) to help a following team member when you know cargo's a goner.

Pelipper : Roost or Knock Off.. tough call. I'd probably go for Knock Off.

Beedrill : I luv it <3

Gastrodon : You know I hate defence up moves <<; Maybe mirror coat with 244 in sp.def instead, and a berry for grass moves? cute stuff with recover. lulz. But I see it's more of a wall so I guess it's ok like that.

As for last slot I'd go for Ditto just for the lulz. It's fun to use and takes an advanced player to play it right. Or try Linoone. :x

Keep in mind, Beedrill is slower than Blastoise >_<

Dunsparce November 12th, 2007 4:05 PM

MAGCARGO!!! <3 <3 <3

My favorite Fire-Type :p

I usually have These Sets on Maggy and Beedrill:

[email protected]
Modest/Quiet - Only use Quiet w/Trick Room Support
Flamethrower
Recover
Earth Power
Ancientpower/HP Rock

It actually has worked for me. It's Special attack sin;t that bad, and it has really good Defense and Special Defsnse just as good as his Special Attack. I like using it with Trick Room. IIRC, there ae no NU pokemon that resist both Rock and Ground.

[email protected] Band
Adamant/Jolly
Poison Jab
X-Scissor
Aerial Ace
Brick Break

OR

[email protected] Berry
Jolly
X-Scissor
Substitute
Agility/Swords Dance
Baton Pass

Substutute is to have (hopefully) The opportunity so use Agility/Swords Dance

Baton Pass is only available on it through Pokemon XD

Standards are much better (This could almost be my catchphrase XD)

I like your Gastrodon strategy. Stockpile and heal away damage with Recover. Nice.

Is this a strictly NU team? If not, how come no Camerupt over Magcargo (seeing he outclasses him)? Or is it just personal preference?

Pretty cool team, overall. Kudos for using NUs =P
