RAWR I IS A RMT!!!

Heylo everyboody. My other thread died, so Im makin' a newer one. My team right now iiiiis.

Aerodactyl-Focus Sash
Jolly-252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Stealth Rock
Ice Fang
Rock Slide
Earthquake

Any comments to my Aerodactyl lead will get ignored, its perfect. Ok well not perfect but it works for me.

Gallade-Choice Scarf
Jolly-252 attack, 172 speed, 40 spdef, 40 HP
Leaf Blade/Psycho Cut
Stone Edge
Close Combat
Night Slash

Physical sweeper, EVs are a little odd but I like the defensive booster. Plus HEYOWZA IVs.

Omastar-Leftovers
Bold-252 Def, 200 Special Attack, 52 HP
Ice Beam
Surf
Protect
Knock Off

My Omastar is a little odd, but if you have battled me, you know its no push-over.

Infernape-???
???-???
Grass Knot
Flamethrower
Close Combat
Thunderpunch

My mixed sweeper, I like this guys moves.

Ok now I need to do some choosing.

Special Sweeper

Gengar-Focus Sash
Timid-252 Speed, 252 Special Attack, 4 HP
Thunderbolt
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball
Energy Ball/Hypnosis

---OR---

Starmie-???
Timid-252 speed, 252 spatk, 4 HP
Surf
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Rapid Spin

Annnnnnd Special Wall

Claydol-Leftovers
Calm-252 HP, 252 Spdef
Rapid Spin
Cosmis Power
Earth Power
Ice Beam

---OR---

Bronzong-Leftovers
Sassy-252 HP, 252 spdef
Gyro Ball
Hypnosis
Earthquake
Explosion

Now Im not usre if I should go Gengar+Claydol or Starmie+Bronzong. Its a hard decision...

Dunsparce November 12th, 2007 7:04 PM

I sometimes like to put Ancientpower/HP Rock on Omaster for dual STAB. It's not recommened over the standard, though.

Eos Aduro November 12th, 2007 7:43 PM

My Omastar actually has Hidden Power Dragon 70 Pow, which is pretty dang sweet, but since Ice Beam takes care of dragons anyways... I still like Protect to bring out all Choice Banders and make sure, then foil there evil plan.

Arsibiyez November 13th, 2007 3:52 AM

I don't get why you even posted Aerodactyl if you didn't want it commented on... I've got a few for him, but anywho...

Infernape @ Life Orb / Expert Belt
Trait: Blaze
Lonely Nature
- Flamethrower / Overheat
- Grass Knot
- Close Combat
- Stone Edge / U-Turn

You can attack with Overheat, and lol as you recover that lost SAtk on the switch with U-Turn.

I'm not a fan of Omastar... Low SDef and Spd is just asking for a Grass Knot or Energy Ball to the face. And it may be drawing out CSers instead of CBers with those defenses.

Sora_8920 November 13th, 2007 3:58 AM

Aerodactyl @ Focus Sash (M)
Trait: Pressure
Adamant / Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Stone Edge
- Crunch/Earthquake
- Roost...

Eos Aduro November 13th, 2007 6:26 PM

Roost is a bit of a waste on Aerodactyl, since it only takes one hit usually. Its a wasted attacking turn. And I posted Aerodactyl because if I didnt then everyone would be asking where my 6 poke would be.

flamehaze94 November 13th, 2007 8:22 PM

/facepalm

I don't care whether you said not to do this or not, that Aerodactyl set is petrifying. Yes, you heard me. Why don't you put Stealth Rock on Omastar, Claydol, or Bronzong instead? They are much better at it. Aerodactyl won't hit hard enough without Choice Band or at least Life Orb. Please don't put Sash, that is an absolute waste of an idem slot. Yes, you will ignore this, but I know you have at least read it.

Don't even think about Rapid Spin on Starmie without Recover.

There are many other mistakes, but I'm too lazy to point them out. >_>

Eos Aduro November 13th, 2007 9:00 PM

Ok, for one, my Aerodactyl works fine, have you ever SEEN this in action? Doubtfull. Stealth Rock goes up, you get low HPed, and I can usually counter many many leads. Weavile is one. Salamence, another. And, if you;re going to point out the mistakes, well why did you post? And Recover and Rapid Spin on Starmie? Dont think thats regular. Takes away a STAB move that covers what Boltbeam dont. You DO know what Boltbeam is, dont you?

flamehaze94 November 13th, 2007 9:16 PM

Oh please.

Aerodactyl with Choice Band/Life Orb already counters Mence and Weavile. Sash takes away power, for one and walls will certainly wall you easily and Stealth Rock on something so frail isn't such a hot idea. After and hang on with Sash and get killed later, well here comes a Rapid Spinner. Stealth Rock is generally used on something that can take a hit, so it can set it up again for entry damage. If they have a Rapid Spinner then you can set it up again and it will become entry hazards for something like Charizard or Ninjask.

Lol, you need Recover if you are going to Spin repeatedly. Starmie is probably the best Rapid Spinner out there because of a reliable recovery move, which is Recover.

Waffle-San November 14th, 2007 11:54 AM

Okay man, yes Aerodactyl can work with a CB set and Bronzong could use Stealth Rock but, where's the originality in using the same thing. His Aerodactyl set is amazing its not all abut power. I'd comment more but my lunch hours over :(

MegaDitto November 14th, 2007 12:08 PM

I would use Gengar over Starmie, and Bronzong over Claydol.

Oddly enough, he/she has Bronzong on this Team :\

I don't see one. :/ What I see is the work "Over".

Eos Aduro November 14th, 2007 6:10 PM

Um, dude, thread says Clydol ---OR--- Bronzong. Look again please. And Bronzong and Gengar mean no Rapid Spinner though.

Waffle-San November 14th, 2007 7:18 PM

I too suggest Bronzong over Claydol, Claydols all fhabdbasfsbdfkbsafjhsbadfjksabfjhsbhj, enough said.

Starmie works better with Recover on the Rapid Spinning set (though he doesn't NEED it).

If you have a good mixedsweeper that can take out A Skarmbliss, you shouldn't have too much trouble anyways. SR doesn't stack witch is an advantage for you.

This is my type of Aerodactyl lead, Crunch is for Gengar leads and Stone Edge is incredible coverage with Earthquake already both having 100 Base Power

Thats all the fixes I made =d

Eos Aduro November 14th, 2007 8:51 PM

I've ben thinking of that set actually, Im iffy on Stone Edges accuracy, since Rock Slide can KO Weavile, but not Dragonite/Salamence. Which is why like Ice Fang, but Gengar leads do stump me. I might switch that up. Im fiddling with an entirely different team on Shoddy Battle, but it needs some work.
