Another Updated Team

There is one major problem: My tank, Sweeper, P. Wall, S. Wall - all Physical. Which is why I'm thinking of swapping 'Vire.

Forretress @ Full Incense
Gyro Ball
Spikes
Explosion
Rapid Spin

Spikespinner.

Tyranitar @ Shell Bell
Fire Fang/Ice Fang
Crunch
EQ
Stone Edge

Meh.

Electivire @ ???
Thunderpunch
Cross Chop
EQ
Ice Punch

SWAP FOR:
Azelf
Gengar
Porygon-Z
Roserade

Would swapping be advisable?

* * *
*Shiny*Lucario @ ???
* * *
Extremespeed
Shadow Claw
EQ
Close Combat

My personal favorite.

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Focus Punch
Subsitute/Crunch
Yawn/Sleep Talk/Snore
Rest

Meh.

Alakazam @ ???
Shadow Ball
Energy Ball
Psychic
Focus Blast

Again, meh.

So, as you can see, 5/6 of my Pokemon are Physical (only 2 are Sweepers though). How would I resolve this problem?

Anti November 12th, 2007 7:41 PM

To answer your question...well, it's so obvious I can't belive I'm saying it. You replace some pokemon. you know, to make room for other pokemon...pretty obvious, yes? and no, you choose. that's your call, not mine.

i seriously cant choose; vire and lucario are both awesome

Eos Aduro November 12th, 2007 7:51 PM

Hmmm, well you COULD make Lucario mixed, and swap Vire in for Gengar or Porygon-Z.

lucarios jolly :/. now what? im thinking of getting rid of vire cause it came at lvl 100 with MINUMIM stats. so i fed it vitamins for atk and spd but it would only eat 10 of each......

Electivire with horrid IVs is NOT awesome.

Eos Aduro November 12th, 2007 7:55 PM

The Vitamins dont increase stats darkknight, thy only increase EVs, and at level 100, those are pointless, so you just lost tons of money. And Vire or Tyranitar in for Gengar, Azelf, or Porygon-Z.

not rly; the stats were raised noticably.

yeah, i was thinking that: the vire has 0 IVs in everything, right?

Iceman3k November 12th, 2007 8:44 PM

The very first step in creating a Pokemon is knowing what its IVs are. Want to find out? Use an IV Calculator. MetalKid's Calculator is probably the most handy.
And also, post some EVs and Natures! What fun is it to rate a team if I can't rant about how you intend on raising them?

I have that same problem with my final team, how ironic

Forretress @ Leftovers
Gyro Ball
Spikes
Earthquake / Substitute
Rapid Spin

Spikespinner.
Leftovers + Earthquake plx

Tyranitar @ Chople Berry / Shuca Berry / Choice Band
Ice Fang
Dragon Dance / Crunch
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Tyranitar needs Dragon Dance. Either than or run Choice Band.

Electivire @ Expert Belt
Thunderbolt
Cross Chop
Earthquake
Ice Punch

SWAP FOR:
Azelf
Gengar
Porygon-Z
Roserade

You tell me.

* * *
*Shiny*Lucario @ Focus Sash
* * *
Extremespeed
Swords Dance
Crunch
Close Combat

My personal favorite.
Use Swords Dance, Use Swords Dance, Use Swords Dance, Use Swords Dance, USE SWORDS DANCE! That or Agility, go ahead a pick one.
Also, Shinys are nothing more than collectibles if they can't combat at full capacity.

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Focus Punch
Crunch
Yawn
Return
Snore? On Snorlax? No thank you.
I'd usually edit it all into a CurseLax, but you probably won't do it anyway

Alakazam @ Choice Specs
Shadow Ball
Energy Ball
Psychic
Focus Blast

Again, meh.
Whatever.

Since Lucario isn't doing much for your team (seeing as you probably won't breed for Crunch), then replace that. Probably run something like Vaporeon for a co-op job with Electivire, and let that Wish Pass for you.

Eos Aduro November 12th, 2007 8:58 PM

Thats impossible, the vitamins only add EVs to your Pokemon, so if you dont level up, the EVs arent distributed.

its weird, but the atk went up to 303 after 10 proteins

Iceman3k November 13th, 2007 4:16 AM

The EVs are added, but they aren't applied statwise until the next level-up.
And a Pokemon must have absolutely no EVs in order to accurately do an IV check on them.

Arsibiyez November 13th, 2007 5:32 AM

If you want Forry's Gyro Ball to hurt, give it a Brave or Impish nature. Either that, or let it hold Macho Brace to cut its speed in half during battle. Full Incense, Iron Ball, and Lagging Tail just make your Pokemon go last in battle, no matter how high your speed is. They're probably only helpful in Trick/Switcheroo strategies.

Archer November 13th, 2007 8:19 AM

Actually, with Vitamins, they increase the stat on the spot. Try it if you dont believe me. You really need a Special Tank/Wall. Snorlax could work, but you need that Zam for a Spec Sweeper.
If Lucario is EV'd in Speed then Choice band or life orb it. If not, then CScarf.

Arcknight316 November 13th, 2007 12:30 PM

Changes:Electivire has been changed to Elekid (I'm still training it) with 29 IVs in ATK and SPD that is partially EV trained with vitamins (lol. thx dark_azelf!) Also, Snorlax has been changed to Slowbro. I know that it has not so great SP. DEF, but with one Calm Mind in, it can block BOTH types. 2 Calm Minds brings it to an AWESOME Sp. Def and also brings its Stats into the Uber Range.

....those are all the changes.
