LVL 100 F.E.A.R type Pokemon

I know of a couple myself, but I would definitely like to hear of more different types of FEAR Style Pokemon (FEAR as in FEARtattas) that fair decently well in LVL100 competitive battles.

Obviously basic examples are the Normal\Flying Birds, Ratattas and Raticates, Smeargles (as once discussed), etc.

Arcknight316 November 13th, 2007 11:51 AM

Yeah.

Pie is good.
Phanpy
Ice Shard
Endeavor

There is a Smeargle version as well. And a Starly one, I think.

Please correct me if im wrong:
A lvl 100 F.E.A.R or P.I.E (Or whichever abbreviation you wanna use) wont be as effective as a level 1 one, because focus sash only works if the poke has been 1HKOed, therefore it is easier to reduce said ratataa hp slightly before nailing it.

Not sure on the fundements of focus sashes, this should be productive for me :)

Fear treecko is nice.
Treecko
@focus sash

Or the same with swellow, dodrio and hitmontop with mach punch or vacuum wave.

The problem with a FEAR team is that all of them fall to a simple Ghost pokemon like Gengar. Endeavor has no effect on them - and thats the main move

Nacon November 13th, 2007 6:17 PM

I believe endeavor does work on ghosts.. it's the quick attack that won't...

my FEARtattas come born with Quick Attack, Endeavor, Sucker Punch (you know for what!), and Hyper Fang.

shining-Celebi November 13th, 2007 6:37 PM

Actually, Pursuit on Rattata would be better.
(For those who want to swithch after endeavor has been used/Same goes for Hitmontop)

luke November 13th, 2007 7:06 PM

Endeavor doesn't work on Ghosts. Endeavor = Normal. Thus, doesn't affect Ghosts. Done.

Syaoran November 13th, 2007 8:09 PM

Will Destiny Bond work on normal pokes? hmm..

that is an impressive one... I don't think it'd be expected, either... HAHA.

Aggron
Metal Burst
After
Focus Sash

It's a real killer. Only down side is that it is virtualy impossible to scrape off that last hp if your opponent sports a focus sahs as well <_<

Counter, Mirror Coat and Metal Burst bypass Focus Sash, which is nice.

or bullet punch or fake out

Fake Out fails with Fear, as Fake Out only works the first turn, not the second (since first turn you'd be using Endeavor)

EDIT: Never Mind...

Phanphy stays the best at this... Slow and knows Ice Shards as well.
