Actually, you DO need Taunt and Dragon Dance. It prevents Phazing. Please learn more about standard sets please. Why Adamant on Electivire when he's using Thunderbolt, a SPECIAL attack. And DOUBLE EDGE ON BLISSEY! Dude, learn something before you rate. Seriously. Bad, bad, bad.

MegaMushroom07 November 13th, 2007 4:06 PM

Yeah, get rid of Electrivire's Thunderbolt, and teach it Thunder Punch!

luke November 13th, 2007 4:08 PM

No, keep Thunderbolt and go with a different EV Spread. I'm not the expert on EV Spreads, so I can't give exact numbers. On Gyarados, always go with Ice Fang/Earthquake or Waterfall/Stone Edge. Gives Gyarados better coverage that way. I'd personally go with Dragon Dance on Tyranitar.

Riss November 13th, 2007 4:12 PM

what about the tyranitar moveset?
btw i have W-o-W instead of toxic b/c it cuts physical attack power in half

oops sorry thought it said Thunderpunch thats why i changed it to adamant
got taunt mixed up with swordsdance my bad

flamehaze94 November 13th, 2007 4:17 PM

Thunderbolt will always be superior to Thunder Punch, but, big but there, it loses to Cresselia. Only a Vire, Adamant nature and perfect attack IVs, with Thunder Punch can 2HKO a Cress. Just some things to consider ^_^.

Riss November 13th, 2007 4:34 PM

ya, but what about tyranitar??

evilcheese November 13th, 2007 4:37 PM

tyranitar @leftovers
trait: sand stream
nature: adamant
EV's 252 HP /252 Atk /4 spd
-EQ
-crunch
-stone edge
-a physicall move

Waterfall/ Earthquake
Stone Edge

Waterfall and Stone Edge hit everything at least neutral except for Empoleon, Poliwrath, and Breloom and only Breloom is seen a lot in competitive play. I fixed the EVs, gives a nice suprise for anyone trying to outspeed you by a point and more attack helps.^^ Eathquake can be used too, to kill slow electric types.

EVs:252Atk / 176Spd / 80Sp.Atk

Thunderbolt
Ice Punch

You team doesn't have any problems with Cresselia so use this mixed set set. Of course the special attacking set, the one I am about to post, is much more effective:

[email protected] Orb
Trait: Motor Drive
Mild nature(+Sp.Atk -Sp.Def)
EVs: 72Atk / 252Sp.Atk / 184Spd

Thunderbolt
Flamethrower
HP [Grass]
Cross Chop

Less counters=WIN.

EVs:252 HP / 252 Def / S.Def 4
Nature:Bold
Ice Beam
Aromatherapy
Softboiled
Seismic Toss

Nonononononononononno and no. Don't even try it.

[email protected] Leftovers
EVs:252HP / 244Def / 8Spd
Flamethrower
W-o-W
Painsplit
Haze

It's nice to outspeed Tyraniboah and Will-O-Wisp him before he gets a Sub in. :P Leftovers>>>>>>>>>Black Sludge, always.

Porygon [email protected] choice Scarf
EVs:252 Sp.Atk / 224 Spd / 32 HP
Nature:Modest
Trait:Download
Tri Attack
Ice Beam
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball

224Speed is all you need. 1.5x spec.attack>>>>>>>>>>>1.3x to one attack. Shadow Ball>>>>Dark Pulse.

EVs:6HP / 252Atk / 252Spd
Nature:Jolly
Dragon Dance
Crunch
Ice Beam
Earthquake

Standard.

I did some fixings to yours. MixGar and MixVire weak respectivly >_>.

Riss November 13th, 2007 6:14 PM

I made some changes but im still not sure about Tyranitar

luke November 13th, 2007 6:36 PM

NO! Don't use Ice Fang and Waterfall together on Gyarados. Use Waterfall/Stone Edge or Ice Fang/Earthquake. Using Ice Fang and Waterfall together leaves you vulnerable to being walled by Water-types. Stealth Rock on Blissey is eh. Like I said, go with: Stone Edge / Earthquake / Dragon Dance / Taunt on Tyranitar.

Eos Aduro November 13th, 2007 6:41 PM

Why no SR on Blissey? Thats a great strategy! It works out well. BTW you dont have a spinner, and thats always a bonus. Also no sign of a good physichal wall.

Riss November 13th, 2007 6:43 PM

Weezing is a really good physical wall...

Eos Aduro November 13th, 2007 6:46 PM

I believe Weezing is a tank, not a wall, but I suppose no amazerific damage receivers/spinners is ok.

flamehaze94 November 13th, 2007 8:09 PM

Errr....no, Weezing is indeed a wall.

Eos Aduro November 13th, 2007 9:03 PM

Really? Hmmmm, Stats look tank-ish to me. Good Attack, HP, and Defense. Thats a tank. But with Haze, its a wall, because of the move loss. One attacking move makes it a wall, more makes it a tank.

flamehaze94 November 13th, 2007 9:26 PM

Is Blissey a tank? The standard set has both Seismic Toss and Ice Beam. No it isn't.

Iceman3k November 13th, 2007 11:09 PM

Tank or Wall, I class them into the same category because their main purpose is to absorb damage.

TTar needs DD badly =\

Eos Aduro November 14th, 2007 6:06 PM

Siesmic Toss, automatically does 100 damage, its a damage taker, not even an attacking move really, so no, its not a tank.
