Battle Tower Team

Hello all!

I need help with movesets for Mesprit, Azelf, and Uxie. I am going to be using them in Battle Tower, and (thanks to AR) I have all the TMs. Please DON'T try to convince me to use different pokemon, and thier natures are obviously fixed. Here they are currently:

Mesprit, Lv. 50

Bashful Nature

Psychic
U-turn
Energy ball
Ice Beam

Azelf, Lv. 50

Bashful Nature

Psychic
Flamethrower
U-Turn
Toxic

Uxie, Lv. 50

Lonely Nature

U-Turn
Shadow ball
Thunderbolt
Water Pulse

Thanks!!

Then why don't you use Action Replay to get the right natures? You used it for everything else, according to your wording.

And no, I'm afraid I can't assist on Action Replay-created teams.

I can't do that.....it wouldn't let me and crashed right after I got the tms.....any body else gonna help?

Well if you cant get the correct nature, im sorry to say they fail.

I JUST WANT A GOOD MOVESET. Bashful does nothing, and Uxie's loneliness helps it.

Precisely it does nothing.

Uxie is a wall and Lonely is + Att - Def =/

Milke November 15th, 2007 10:54 AM

So??? Natures that do nothing aren't so bad, and Uxie's nature isn't bad since it usually has low attack and high defense.

Conicedantally, what stat does a wall normally want? High defense? Attack?

The natures that do nothing ARE AWFUL, just becasue they do nothing for the pokemon.

Uxie = a wall therefore it needs a Calm or a a Bold nature to do its intended job. It doesnt need to attack much.

Azelf= Special Sweeper, therefore needs Timid Nature to do ITS intended job.

Mespirit can do numerous jobs such as Calm mind sweeping/Tanking either Modest or Timid for that or Bold for dual tanking.

Milke November 15th, 2007 11:07 AM

CAN SOMEBODY JUST GIVE ME A MOVESET???????!!!! This is for battle tower INGAME, so natures and Ivs don't matter as much.ALL I NEED ARE THE MOVES. PLEASE.

Iceman3k November 15th, 2007 11:19 AM

You need to cool it, because what you're doing is this
http://www.freewebs.com/icysworld/overheat.png

Also, Battle Tower Teams have EVed Pokemon Late in the Tower, so not caring for IVs or whatever WILL get you screwed.

Azelf, run with Nasty Plot and Focus Sash.
Uxie should run off of Yawn, Stealth Rock, Reflect, and some random Sp. Attack.
Mesprit, can't help you on that one.

If you want the honest truth, Dark AND Bug Type Attackers will instantly slice all 3 of them.

Milke November 15th, 2007 11:26 AM

Sorry, Dark Azelf and Ice Man. I am now cooled down, but I lost a lot of Sp. attack.:) Thanks for the moves, Ice Man!

I saw your other thread. Here's a variant of Raichu you can use:

Raichu @ Choice Band/Life Orb
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -Sp. Atk)
EVs: 252 Speed / 252 Attack / 6 HP

Volt Tackle
Iron Tail
Brick Break
Quick Attack

My current CBchu. Volt Tackle for STAB, Iron Tail is innacurate but sometimes useful. Brick Break helps against TTar. Quick Attack for sashers, but replace this with something else if you do use CB. If you want Quick Attack, use Life Orb, but this coupled with VT's recoil can be costly.

Anti November 15th, 2007 12:24 PM

Deano, iron tail is bad, but without STAB it is just BAD...I'd just run Thunderbolt over it for physical walls, even if it's battle tower, it could still come in handy.

Thanks everybody!! I will use your advice.
