Well to start, that Ninjask isn't going to survive very long despite the Focus Sash.

That's all for now.

That's why I've got swords dance so I'll get boosted attack then sweep out everything in my way.
Besides most pokemon don't last for more than like 2 or 3 turns if your opponent has more than 3 brain cells and a basic knowledge of the game.

Waffle-San November 15th, 2007 5:50 PM

Ya I saw that, but I'm stil not sure it's worth it, with all the Tryannitar's running around with Sandstream, your plans miht be ruined. Good luck though as I have leave now.

Samson November 16th, 2007 10:36 AM

uh, he'd ohko ttar after one swords dance, so i think bringing up ttar is a moot point.

i've always wanted to try a sweeping ninjask, but i've never wanted to feel the grief of going up against any random skarmory/weezing.

give licki thunderbolt. it really needs tbolt =/ if not, at least give it CB so that it can actually do some damage. as a matter of fact, reduce the def evs and put them into attack. oh and gyro ball is a horrible move ._. if you're worried about weavile, sure, it's a decent move, but it has rock slide anyway. replace either one for tbolt plz

i'd give umbreon lum berry so it can shake off status and take care of the bastard/switch the hell out XD

timid exeg is silly. choice specs is good, sure, but timid is BAD. bad nature on bad poke is bad =/ i'd give it bold or modest instead. use it as a semi physical tank and special attacker. shame you couldn't get hp fight/fire. this thing gets walled by skarmory/metagross and the like.

eww corsola is an ultimate poopymonster. gastrodon would be much better than corsola. it has both stockpile + recover. it's an ultimate beast, and has the same X4 grass weakness.

Payback can 2hko Azelf, Gengar <Insert weak psychic/Ghost pokemon here>

I prefer to use Dark pulse though, just because if its your last pokemon then you arent flapping around and cant attack and at least have a fighting chance then if you use an offensive move.

Its main purpose is to BP. And Umbreon can't really have an attacking move..

I know however the problem is, what are you going to do when its your last pokemon with no attacking moves ?

With an attacking move then at least you have a sporting chance of winning.

Good players will try to prevent that....

I know that, however you know as well as i do that not everything goes your way in battles....

EDIT : Hell even Toxic, as much as it fails is better than nothing.

Samson November 16th, 2007 2:39 PM

there's nothing wrong with payback on an umbreon w/ curse. if you can't pass the curse because of taunt or because there's no one alive to receive the benefits, then curse + payback is a nice combination.

Until your wall gets hammered into oblivion with a novelty set and umbreon ends up being your last pokemon by default after you try to outsweep them. If that made sense. Probably not. since it doesn't even make sense to me now...

ultranerd57 November 16th, 2007 3:59 PM

Got my sixth:

Yanmega
Hasty
252spd/ 252spatk/ 6def
Bug Buzz
Air Slash
Psychic
Giga Drain

or I was thinking since everyone always uses berries on starmies and milotics and those are common to use this:

Yanmega
Hasty
252spdef/ 166hp/ 92def
Bug Bite
Roost
Air Slash
Giga Drain

Don't think it'll be that good though.

That wasn't the point, I meant that whether the Ttar was out before he sends out Jask or while he has Jask out, the Sandstorm would ruin his plan of hanging on at 1HP.
And as for that Yanmega, why Hasty? Well why Hasty on the first one? Would Timid (or Modest if your using Speed Boost) be better, don't want to throw away some defense points.

Eos Aduro November 16th, 2007 9:09 PM

Timid-252 Special Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Bug Buzz
Giga Drain
Anceint Power (For covering weaknesses, gets Flying, Ice, and Fire)
Air Slash/Shadow Ball/Psychic

i understand that. what i was emphasizing is that if they switch in Ttar after it uses one Swords Dance, Ttar is not gonna like switching in on a X-Scissor, which actually means that Ninjask would be doing SOMETHING.

Dark Azelf November 17th, 2007 4:39 AM

These Set's are from Smogon, so they're fine. Just adding one more Set: The Reversaler Set.

Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SATk)

Endure + reversal is loled at by TTar. there's a very good reason nobody uses it.
