D/P Blueprints: The Final Force (Part 2)

Because I don't feel like bumping it. But I have accomplished my breeding successes (well most of them anyway)

I'm looking to see if I get any more feedback on this. So far, I got plenty of positive feedback on it.

Starmie @ Choice Specs ** Misty
Ability: Natural Cure
IVs: 26 HP / 2 Atk / 27 Def / 31 Spd / 31 SAtk / 30 SDef
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Grass Knot
- Surf
Gonna use her as a Choice Spec Attacker, or possibly Life Orb so I won't be so limited.

Dusknoir @ Leftovers ** Death
Ability: Pressure
IVs: 25 HP / 27 Atk / 28 Def / 18 Spd / 1 SAtk / 25 SDef
EVs: 252 HP / 148 Def / 108 SDef
Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Pain Split
- Will-O-Wisp
- Shadow Sneak
- Fire Punch
Temporary until I can find something to combat Enemy Heracross with.
Redone EVs to mix with its IVs.

Snorlax @ Leftovers ** Uncle Phil
Ability: Thick Fat
IVs: 23 HP / 25 Atk / 31 Def / 3 Spd / 10 SAtk / 24 SDef
EVs: 204 HP / 36 Atk / 100 Def / 168 SDef
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Curse
- Crunch
- Body Slam / Return / Earthquake
- Rest
Special Tank. Self-Explanatory.
Redone EVs to mix with its IVs.

Heracross @ Choice Scarf ** Malachi (Opener)
Ability: Guts
IVs: 24-31 HP / 31 Atk / 25 Def / 31 Spd / 1 SAtk / 21 SDef
EVs: 88 HP / 220 Atk / 200 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Megahorn
- Close Combat
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
CS Heracross. Also Self-Explanatory.

Tyranitar @ Chople Berry ** Super*****
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 128 HP / 172 Atk / 208 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch
- Ice Fang
Tyranitar with no Rock Attack?! ARE YOU SERIOUS???
Yeah, but I'll figure a way to fit Rock Slide / Stone Edge in there. It is of major importance to combat Gyarados as I rampage.

Forretress @ Leftovers ** Testicles
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 80 Atk / 180 Def
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Spikes
- Substitute / Rapid Spin
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
Rapid Spiking. Might run Stealth Rock instead since I lost Claydol.

Feedback is appreciated. And yes, I see the big throbbing Infernape weakness, no need to point it out lol.

UPDATES:
- Changed Tyranitar's EVs. Now optimized to match Garchomp's Speed after 1 Dragon Dance.
- Swapped Gliscor for Claydol.
- Added Forretress.
- Swapped Claydol for Dusknoir until further notice.
- All new Tyranitar! Fixed EVs for more HP, and now has Speed for the full ensurance of outspeeding Garchomp after one Dance. Might do further optimization for outspeeding Infernape. Replaced Ice Beam with Ice Fang and replaced Stone Edge with Crunch.
- Modified Heracross's EVs.
- Added Nicknames. (Not that it matters :p)
- Optimized Tyranitar's EVs to outrun Infernape after 1 Dragon Dance.
- Exchanged Dusknoir's Focus Punch for Fire Punch for Heracross Combat.
- Added IVs to Dusknoir, Snorlax, Starmie, and Heracross.
- Modified the above 4's EVs to blend well with its IVs.

This team is actually pretty good O_o Your Starmie lead is effective to destroying most leads like the common Hippowdon/Tyranitar/Salamence/Gengar leads

Just make sure you watch out for those Sash Infernapes, they are famous are obliterating entire teams with Speed pass

Lovin the EV's on the Tyranitar

Alright, well if you want a rock type move in there... why not try this:

Tyranitar @ Chople Berry
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 128 HP / 172 Atk / 208 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Crunch/Ice Fang
- Stone Edge/Rock Slide

Honestly, i'd go with the Crunch, and Stone Edge [so what recoil aint that bad, ya kno]

Well... the Crunch or Ice Fang will depend on what your more worried 'bout... so i'd suggest choosen that way.
One of the only things you have to worry 'bout against Tyranitar is fighting, and thats covered with Dusknor.

*shrugs*

Yeah, and that's an evil rush. Especially if Sandstorm gets cancelled out after Tyranitar dies =(

Anyway, Iceman3k seeks more feedback.

why have speed EV's on dusknoir?

Anti November 16th, 2007 4:02 PM

Well, it's actually rather solid overall. Sure there are some pokemon that hurt your team, but you seem to have proper counters.

the only disappointment is the lack of :horns: but is otherwsie pretty good ;)

eDIT: There are no speed EVs on Noir X_x

Iceman3k November 16th, 2007 4:02 PM

@EvilCheese: You're confusing its IVs with its EVs. I'm not using Speed EVs on Dusknoir.

Dark Azelf November 16th, 2007 4:10 PM

On Tyranitar, i like to max out speed and attack, pointless ? Well no its not, after a Dragon Dance it gets to 364 speed, enough to outspeed Jolly Garchomp , Timid Gengar,Timid Starmie, Timid Azelf who are some major Tyranitar threats, although its up to you weather you want to outspeed that much.

You can also consider Taunt if you want, because theres nothing more annoying than having to switch out because of a threat of a status condition and making Skarmory <Insert wall here> mere set up fodder when it cant whirlwind you away.
