Archer November 23rd, 2007 4:10 AM

Yeah, I'll do that then.. *off to breed more Gastlys*

Ársa November 23rd, 2007 4:13 AM

Or try a personal fave of mine:

[email protected] Scarf
Modest
252 Spd, 252 Sp. Atk, 6 HP

Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Psychich
Dark Pulse

Archer November 23rd, 2007 4:15 AM

Gengar can switch in well. And i almost have the right one.

Ársa November 23rd, 2007 4:16 AM

You may run Hypnosis on Gengar if you like...

~M51

Archer November 23rd, 2007 4:18 AM

No, i've decided i want the HP ICE moveset.

EDIT: if i cant get one with decent power, then i may have to go with energy Ball...

Ársa November 23rd, 2007 4:20 AM

OK................... :)

~M51

Archer November 23rd, 2007 4:26 AM

One more question, who should i drop for it? I say Gardevoir or Ludi.

Ársa November 23rd, 2007 4:39 AM

Gardevoir, I like Ludicolo....:)

P.S. You can replace Ludicolo for this if you like, if you don't have a problem with legends:

[email protected]
Bold
252 HP, 220 Def, 36 Spd

Baton Pass
Light Screen/Thunder Wave
Reflect/Thunder Wave
Calm Mind

~M51

[email protected]
Calm
Rain Dish
252 HP, 252 Sp. def, 6 Def

Leech Seed
Protect
Toxic
Rain Dance

There is another option for your Ludicolo....:)

Rain Dance + Leech Seed + Leftovers = o.0!

Add to that, Toxic for residual damage, and when you need to gain HP, Protect, while the Toxic takes care of your opponent.

Sora_8920 November 23rd, 2007 6:02 AM

Well, I think Ludicolo. As Annoyers fail in Competitive. :P

Archer November 23rd, 2007 4:43 PM

I did say Its a Wifi team, so Celebi is definately out.
It is proving to difficult to Find an HP Ice Gastly, so far i have checked fifteen and most of them seem to be Electric/Rock. If i were to find one, i still need one with decent power. If i end up with a one below 50, its almost pointless. So, Energy Ball or Hypnosis?

Ársa November 23rd, 2007 4:47 PM

Energy Ball. It will do well enough to cover for HP Grass. :) (Although you can lead with a Hypnogar, if that's what you want.)

~M51

Sora_8920 November 23rd, 2007 5:06 PM

Um. Celebi isn't Uber. And Legendaries aren't Banned. :/

Archer November 23rd, 2007 5:50 PM

I meant i'm gonna have a hard time getting a Celebi, let alone one with the right nature...

Ársa November 23rd, 2007 6:24 PM

I have Naive and Timid Celebi's if you think you could use those.....lolz. o.0'

~M51

Archer November 23rd, 2007 7:10 PM

No thanx.
*Boots up GBASP*
Mine are Jolly and Naughty. Dont want to use celebi anyway.

Here is my Gastly, it will have to do. Not using Hidden Power now btw.

Gastly
HP 16
Atk 8
Def 22
SAtk 25
SDef 0
Spd 26
HP Ground - 37 pwr.

So, Hypnosis or Energy Ball?

EDIT: Oh, and Focus Sash or life orb. If i'm using Hypnosis, then definately Focus Sash.

Darkblade November 24th, 2007 9:41 PM

I'd go with focus sash, coz gengar hasn't any healing moves

Its to fragile to heal anyway. But yeah that sounds good.

Now I was thinking of swapping my Gardevoir for Either a Umbreon or Slowking.

Slowking @ Lefties
Calm | 252 HP / 240 Sp.def / 18 Sp.atk
~Calm Mind
~Slack Off
~Surf
~Ice Beam

Cant decide on Umbreon...

Sora_8920 November 25th, 2007 3:25 AM

Actually, i'd run this Set for Gengar:

Gengar @ Wide Lens ** Casper
Trait: Levitate
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Energy Ball
- Focus Blast
- Hypnosis. :P

- Thunder*
- Energy Ball
- Focus Blast*
- Hypnosis. :P

* With 70 accuracy, these attacks only get boosted to 77% acc. with Wide lens. I would be much more inclined to run focus sash.

Can i have everyones thoughts on my Slowking?

Still, argeuing with the Standards isn't going to help. :/

I understand the advantages to that set, but i personally think gengar is to fragile to take a hit if it misses. "arguing with the standards"? Were you refering to standard Movesets or RMT'ers?

I was referring to Standard Movesets. :/

Archer November 25th, 2007 2:56 PM

I was not arguing, so much as comparing the flaws between movesets. I appreciate your help a lot, but i don't really want that particular moveset. Can someone please rate my Slowking?

Sora_8920 November 25th, 2007 2:58 PM

Slowking can run Trick Room. I'd run that if none of the Pokemon in your team are fast. Otherwise, it's fine.

Archer November 25th, 2007 3:39 PM

~First Post Updated~
I would like it if people looked at the team as a whole once more before i start training.
