Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Dragon Dance
- Hidden Power [Flying] / Outrage
- Fire Blast / Fire Punch

Bold is 3rd gen, normal font is 4th gen, italics is either gen. As far as the moveset is concerned. The EVs apply for any set you use.

ty for help. ill do the 4th gen stuff and i better start egg moving!

Anti November 16th, 2007 8:52 PM

Whcih would mean the normal font moves. you cover about everything, but keep in mind fire blast can work in D/P as well, if you prefer the skarmbliss killer route.

nah ill do the punch. ty for advice.

Anti November 16th, 2007 8:54 PM

ty? Well, whatever the kids say these days ;) Just be sure your opponents counters are taken down, or Dnite won't do much. It's more of a late-game sweeper. The only physical wall it can really own is forretress.

oh ty, thank you.sry.lol i did it again. (sry=sorry)

ThePlaya November 16th, 2007 8:58 PM

Try this

[email protected]/(or that berry for the ice moves weakening)
Ability:Inner Focus
Nature:Jolly
EVs:252 Speed, 252 Attack, 4 HP
-Dragon Dance
-Earthquake
-Dragon Claw
-Fire Blast/Fire Punch/Thunder punch/Thunder

Dragon Claw over Outrage because a steel type *coughskarmorycough*will just come in and wall you when using Outrage and then you'll get confused after that.Fire Blast or Thunder for Skarmorys....they will never know what hit them.Or if you want one with just physical moves then go with fire/thunder punch.

Waffle-San November 16th, 2007 8:58 PM

Outrage is a joke. Well not really but Dragon Claw will always be more valuable IMO.

That's one set of course you might want to change to nature if your using Fire Blast, in eather gen. DNite, has more defensef possabilities too. Not like it can pull the above off though. I love it.

I psoted at the same time as thePlaya, jsut clearing things up before I get accused of repeating.

im doing punch and claw....could you post a defensive set then?

Waffle-San November 16th, 2007 9:06 PM

Well its basically more of a Nature and EV change. There's also the mixed set if you want to run Flamethrower/Fire Blast over Fire Punch for Skarmbliss.

I can never remember EV's. xD

Anti November 16th, 2007 9:06 PM

Outrage is a joke? Hello, dragonite is a LATE GAME SWEEPER. you are supposed to scout and destroy the steels that counter it first. then you sweep the team. I mean, c'mon. Send in your darling magneton, kill the srupid bird, and then what can stop you? sorry, but saying outrage is useless is very incorrect.

Outrage is useless if you're reckless and don't bother scouting for counters. You destroy the steel type or physical wall (or w/e the counter is) and then tell me what can take a boosted outrage. Nothing can.

EDIT: Dragonite is really meant to sweep rather than tank, but I guess it's possible.

acually im back with your set.late game sweeper it is.

Waffle-San November 16th, 2007 9:08 PM

Well I said it was A joke and then said "well not really" Dragon Claw's just more effective IMO. Dragonite could take down to steels itself with a Fireblast/Fire Punch.

Yes. you'd have to be stupid to start using outrage if you didn't know what pokemon could come in and set up on you. I mean, it's pretty easy to take out counters. Late game sweepers tend to sweep a lot more than normal sweepers I've noticed.

And no matter what set you use, it's for late game (except the subpuncher I guess), so you might as well run it with power in mind.

Anti November 16th, 2007 9:13 PM

well, my opinion on outrage is very strong, glad I didn't start to vent...lol

Trust me, it is in the top 5 as far as physuical sweepers go. It's that good. IMO ;)

BTW could i have permission to make myself one of those chanseys?

Waffle-San November 16th, 2007 9:15 PM

Anti-Pop's one of the best at it. And I also love Dragonite. I liek alot of the pokes Anti does. Except he uses Skarmory. And I hate that thing more than I hate uh things I really hate.

You don't need permission, or do you eman the CB chansey, cause..........well, lets just say Choice Specs would do a little better XD.

Go to serebii's pokedex' to see what I mean.

i know but didnt he make the thing?

Anti November 16th, 2007 9:21 PM

Just don't use CB blissey. It is the worst set ever created, and a mere joke.

Waffle-San November 16th, 2007 9:22 PM

It was well more of a here just scroll to the bottom of the page here and check for yourself under attack.

http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-dp/242.shtml

Time it by 1.5 for its atk after CB. (its 195 at max)

O Anti-pop said it was a joke, I wanted to let you do that.

Eos Aduro November 16th, 2007 9:40 PM

Why does everybody think aromatherapy on Bliss is a mere liability? It's the best heal beller in the game, not using it doesn't make sense. Ice beam can go over Twave or seismic toss, but I honestly think it needs aromatherapy. Because having cleric support is kinda necessary...

Waffle-San November 16th, 2007 9:43 PM

Well actually with Ice beam and some good IV's you can sacrifice a little HP for Sp. Atk. A LITTLE.
