Trait: Early Bird
EV's: 252HP / 252ATK / 6SPD
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)

- Sleep Talk
- Double-edge
- Earthquake.

Kangaskhan (M) Choice Band
Trait: Scrappy
EV's: 42HP / 252ATK / 216SPD
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Return
- Focus Punch / Hammer Arm
- Sucker Punch
- Earthquake / Avalanche...

Remind me what good sleep talk would do with one turn to sleep...I'd just replace with something to hit gengar and the likes with. though it's used much more in UUs, same idea...

luke November 17th, 2007 6:36 PM

Well, Kangaskhan might have Scrappy, so that whole Early Bird cutting sleep in half won't have an effect on the motherly masculine bipedal Pokemon. I personally like the Subpuncher set.

Ooka November 17th, 2007 7:33 PM

Yeah, I like the SubPunching set, with scrappy. It hits everything. Including Spiritombs and Sableyes mind you (SE)

Arsibiyez November 18th, 2007 7:33 AM

Hammer Arm allows you to hit Spiritomb without having to lose HP for a Sub, though. And Hammer Arm is a very damaging move on its own. The cut in Speed shouldn't be a problem. You'd probably switch when they bring out Vire or Ape anyway. Oh, how popular they are...

Can't believe no one has mentioned a STAB Choice Banded Scrappy Fake Out yet...

ThePlaya November 18th, 2007 2:37 PM

yeah i was thinking of running that set Angelic

Anti November 18th, 2007 2:38 PM

You know, 'fake out' isn't really a set...

But the CB set is quite nice, if I could remember it...

ThePlaya November 18th, 2007 2:40 PM

Yeah....i said it wrong.My bad
What i meant was have choice band, scrappy, and fake out

Anti November 18th, 2007 2:41 PM

Which would be the CB set. CB STABed double-edge hurts REALLY BAD.

Extric November 18th, 2007 2:46 PM

The CB Kangaskhan set looks like this:

Kangaskhan @ Choice Band
Scrappy / Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 ATK / 216 SPD / 42 HP
- Return
- Focus Punch / Hammer Arm
- Earthquake / Avalanche
- Sucker Punch

I would run Hammer Arm over Focus Punch and Avalanche over Earthquake [that is if you need something to take out dragons].

Anti November 18th, 2007 2:49 PM

I would run double-edge over return to have extra power, which can be quite useful. But that's more persoanl preference than fact.
