The Arrival... of MY FIRST 3RD GEN TEAM!

I might get NetBattle, so Im making a 3rd Gen team

Modest-252 Special Attack, 252 speed, 4 HP
Thunderbolt
Calm Mind
Substitute
HP Grass

Lead, special sweeping.

Salamence-Leftovers/Lum Berry
Adamant-148 HP, 248 Attack, 112 speed
Earthquake
Hidden Power Flying
Dragon Dance
Rock Slide

Physical Sweeper

Skarmory-Lefotvers
Impish-252 Defense, 252 HP, 4 attack
Drill Peck

Timid-196 HP, 112 Defense, 190 Speed, 12 Special Attack
Psychic
Wish
Light Screen/Reflect/Quick Attack/Thunder Wave
Light Screen/Reflect/Quick Attack/Thunder Wave

Personal preference, and I like its 4x resistance to brick break, helping Light Screen and Refelct out quite nicely if they get broken down, plus Wish is nice.

Swampert-Leftovers/Chesto Berry???
Impish-252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Attack
Curse
Rock Slide/Rest???
Earthquake
HP Flying

Raikou cannot be an special sweeper without speed...

But Salac Berry isn't best by Raikou

Raikou @ Petyta Berry
Nature : Timid
EV: 252 Spd / 252 Sp Atk
-Thunderbolt
-Crunch
-Substitute
-Hidden Power Grass

Raikou has great speed as it is. It has no need for an Berry..

I copied the set from Serebii, so its a bit rough. Also Substitue over Calm Mind? Why? Also, I think I have my fifth

Good luck without speed...

Salamence-Leftovers/Lum Berry
Adamant-148 HP, 248 Attack, 112 speed
Earthquake
Hidden Power Flying
Dragon Dance
Rock Slide

Physical Sweeper

Nitr runs it better, but okay.

Skarmory-Lefotvers
Impish-252 Defense, 252 HP, 4 attack
Drill Peck
Spikes
Whirlwind
Substitute

Physical Wall

Rest over sub. If you fear magneton, scout for it (though this isn't easy to do).

Blissey-Leftovers
Bold-252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Spdef
Seismic Toss
Ice Beam
Aromatherapy
Softboiled

fine

Special Wall

I DONT KNOW FOR THE OTHER TWO!!! HELP ME PLEASE!!!

First off, all 4 of those pokemon are on MY team :O

But raikou needs speed, and lefties too. the healing will come in handy. DDmence isn't my favorite set by any means, CBmence really is better. Oh, sub is standard on raikou BTW. Over crunch.

And file--->export to text in team builder is your friend ;)

EDIT: Serebii gave Itachi a set recommending Iron tail on arcanine :/

Eos Aduro November 17th, 2007 9:19 PM

YEah I dont trsut it much, BTW added two others, and you;re the 3rd Gen guy, I'll do the changes

Anti November 17th, 2007 9:24 PM

Export it to text using team builder, as the formet is more readable and more organized. Plus you sdon't have to write it out.

And with swampert, it is practically a spitting image of my team...minus jirachi.

Salamence (F) @ Choice Band ** Monstermence
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast / Brick Break
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Rock Slide

Would be a prefered CBmence, as DDmence really is easy to counter, even by late-game standards.

Raikou @ Leftovers ** Wrathkou
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Crunch
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Thunderbolt

Is the raikou is use...max speed isn't common, but it outspeeds gengar and most importantly-adamant dugtrio ;)

Swampert (M) @ Leftovers ** Swampstar
Trait: Torrent
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SAtk
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Rest

Mixpert. Cursepert is fail in ADV really...

Eos Aduro November 17th, 2007 9:26 PM

I dont have NetBattle yet, but I will probably get it soon, so basically if the tex goes in, then I get a team?

Anti November 17th, 2007 9:29 PM

You make one...

But I'm gonna make some changes I don't usually make to

-make this a bit different than my team :O

and that's mostly it. Personally, I'd consider running dugtrio over Mence and magneton for skarmlbiss killing, trapping worn-down targets, and resisting boltbeam.

Eos Aduro November 17th, 2007 9:31 PM

Admit it, my team is too awesome. You cant stand it. But... Ok Dugtrio over Salamence, and is this the proper netbattle download site? http://tvsian.info/netbattle/ because of all the virus stuffs. And what do i do about Dugtrio?

Anti November 17th, 2007 9:37 PM

run adamant CB Duggy. compiled guides has most of the sets I'll be mentioning. but if you put in celebi, using it as a heal beller can be very useful. Celebi can also be a skarmbliss counter of sorts...

Celebi @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
EVs: 240 HP / 116 Def / 152 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Leech Seed
- Psychic / Hidden Power [Fire]
- Calm Mind
- Recover

Kinda-ish. Leech seed lols at bliss-it'll probably switch. Good for annoying the crap out of everybody. Heal bell and BP also work great. Getting a set of 4 moves that gel well can be tough with 'Bi, but with the standard it really isn't. Now I'm rambling :/
