Well, azumarill can make great use of belly drum with its huge power ability. And aqua jet certainly helpes ;)

~!Fuddmeyer!~ November 19th, 2007 6:24 PM

Azumarril @ Choice Band
Jolly Nature
EVs: Not sure...
Waterfall
Ice Punch/Return
Brick Break
Aqua Jet/Body Slam

Keep in mind, you can't get Aqua Jet and Ice Punch on the same set. If you want Aqua Jet, use Return instead if Ice Punch. It will hurt you though...

Anti November 19th, 2007 6:27 PM

Um, azumarill needs adamant since it has (lol) 40 base attack. And return + waterfall/aqua jet has great coverage actually.

evilcheese November 19th, 2007 6:29 PM

take a look at this video:http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3501562095544996947&q=marriland&total=1726&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1 skip to the last part that azumaril pwned!

Azumarill has lol 50 base attack. It needs Adamant, correct. And thus, I reintroduce the Physical Azumarill:

Azumarill @ Leftovers / Muscle Band / Choice Band
Trait: Huge Power
Adamant Nature (252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef)
- Waterfall (because Aqua Tail's accuracy is annoyingly 90.)
- Brick Break / Belly Drum (just because...)
- Ice Punch (Migrate from Emerald. Damn it! Why can't she learn Avalanche?!)
- Return (because Earthquake is not an option.) / Aqua Ring (to tankify it. Do not use with CB!)

Well, Belly Drum is certainly a viable option, except for the fact that it doesn't have any direct recovery moves. Aqua Ring is what I choose most of the time since it makes for great HP recovery with Lefties. ;)

Aqua Jet+Ice Punch are illegal :/

Lumine November 20th, 2007 2:07 AM

Satsusen's set are quite nice however you could always go with a SubPuncher set (just suggesting another option)

Azumarill @ Leftovers
Adamant
EVs: 252 HP / 252 ATK / 6 SPDEF
Ability: Huge Power
-Waterfall
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Ice Punch

AH right silly me I was thinking Emerald --> D/P =\

Ársa November 20th, 2007 4:25 AM

Are you being fesicious??? I am unsure on whether you can migrate with it...lol I was just going with someone elses post...

Arsibiyez November 20th, 2007 4:33 AM

I know it's legal SOMEHOW, because I've used that set on Shoddy and it was allowed. Unless Shoddy doesn't disallow illegal sets yet...

Ársa November 20th, 2007 4:38 AM

I checked Smogon sets, and they talk about the legality of it. It may be, but how would you go about getting it from Emerald again?

Ársa November 20th, 2007 5:06 AM

yeah, I don't think you can...........:P

Arsibiyez November 20th, 2007 5:15 AM

Ok, so maybe you CAN'T get Aqua Jet and Ice Punch on the same set... Silly me.
(Avalanche would've been so much fun to abuse, what with such lol Spd... WHY IS NINTENDO TORTURING YOU LIKE THIS?!)

Anywho, I've edited the last set I posted. Belly Drum and Brick Break are now possible substitutes.
(Hehehe... I said Substitute... Points go to Lumine for the Subpuncher.)

Ooh, I just thought of something... If you can't go with Ice Punch, it's okay since Return and Waterfall already have nice coverage. (So says Anti.)

So, what if we place Icy Wind there to compensate for slowness? It DOES have a 50% chance to reduce the target's Spd, and that's not too bad, IMHO. But that's just me talking. This is the guy that thought Stealth Rock was stackable... ~_~

Nacon November 20th, 2007 10:54 AM

wow... this is making me consider breeding and making a good... PIKABLU.... rofl.

I haven't thought of Azumarril being evil, but this seems to look quite effective.

Ooka November 20th, 2007 11:21 AM

I actually use one on my team, it's just like Medicham except Medicham is made to CS.

[email protected]
Adamant~252 Attack/252 HP
Ability: Huge Power
Waterfall
Aqua Jet
Double Edge
Brick Break

It works extremely well.
