RMT [Team w/ Threat List]

Got bored so I've decided to make a team for Shoddy Battle. Note that the threat list might not be that accurate because it's getting late and I didn't double check everything.

Porygon-Z @ Choice Scarf
Adaptability / Modest Nature
EVs: 252 Sp. ATK / 252 SPD / 6 HP
- Tri Attack
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Beam
- Dark Pulse

Standard CS, Boltbeaming, Tri Attack sweeping, Porygon-Z. I’m having some thoughts of replacing the scarf with Life Orb so that he has the option to change moves without withdrawing, but then he won’t be able to outrun leads like Heracross.

Infernape @ Life Orb
Blaze / Naïve Nature
EVs: 252 Sp. ATK / 232 SPD / 24 ATK
- Nasty Plot
- Flamethrower
- Close Combat
- Grass Knot

Standard Mixed Infernape that will be my main wall-killing machine.

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Torrent / Calm Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Sp. DEF / 6 SPD
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Grass knot
- Yawn / Roar

Special Wall Empoleon. I don’t think I need to go any further than that. The only thing I need help on is what my last move should be, Yawn or Roar.

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Sturdy / Impish Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 162 DEF / 96 ATK
- Brave Bird
- Roost
- Spikes
- Whirlwind

My physical wall/spiker. I don’t think I have to explain this moveset at all.

Electivire @ Expert Belt
Motor Drive / Adamant Nature
EVs: 252 ATK / 252 SPD / 6 HP
- Earthquake
- Ice Punch
- Thunderpunch
- Low Kick

Electivire is my main physical attacker with Infernape being a mixed sweeper. This is pretty much the standard Electivire set; only I’ve dropped Cross Chop for Low Kick mainly because I think Electivire functions better with it. The only issues I will have is not being able to 2HKO Blissey, but I’ve got Infernape for that.

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Sand Veil / Impish Nature
EVs: 252 HP / 180 DEF / 72 SPD / 6 ATK
- Earthquake
- Aerial Ace
- Stealth Rock
- Roost

Gliscor has become one of my favorite Pokemon due to his ability to stop Heracross from destroying my team. The 72 speed EVs allow him to outrun Magnezone before they can use HP Ice and I can destroy them with Earthquake.

Tyranitar – Gliscor

Dragonite – Empoleon / Skarmory

For Empoleon put Roar because people can switch out of Yawn so it doesn't effect them.

Maybe forcing a switch was the whole point of the 2 moves. =/

Yawn, IMO. That way, your opponent may switch. If not, then they sleep. Either way, it'll be to your advantage. ;)

How the heck does Empoleon take Specs Fire Blast from Heatran? It's nearly an 0HKO.

Empoleon is not a Heatran counter. A counter by definition is something that can which into a certain Pokemon reletively safe and scare them off.

Any form of Gengar can rip this team to threads.
