That cute fluffy pokemon, Jumpluff!

Hey, I have a Jumpluff just rotting away in my PC box. It is a level 51 timid nature poke with no EV's whatsoever. What do you folks think would be an apprpriate Ev spread and Moveset for it?

Samson November 20th, 2007 1:06 PM

Jumpluff @ Wide Lens
Jolly/Timid Nature
252 SPD/252 HP/4 DEF
-U-turn
-Sleep Powder
-Stun Spore/Encore
-Reflect

yup.

Or theres the sunnybeamer strategy.

Jumpluff
Timid
252spd/ 252spatk/ 6hp
Solarbeam
HP fire
Sunny Day
Sleep powder

I think its sleep powder not sure though.

Jumpluff Can't sunnybeam...the strategy is a bad one as it is, but jumpluff doesn't have anywjhere near the power to pull it off. Subseeder set is pretty good on it...

Azonic November 20th, 2007 3:37 PM

Jumpluff @Leftovers
Trait: Chlorophyll
Timid Nature
-Leech Seed
-Sleep powder
-Reflect / Stun Spore / U-turn / Encore

Sunnybeamer on Jumpluff. It's power is no where near what's needed to pull off that set. Roserade is much better at that set.

Eos Aduro November 20th, 2007 4:41 PM

Jumpluff-Yache Berry
Jolly
252 Speed, 248 Spped, 8 HP
Substitute
Leech Seed
U-Turn
Return

I've actually tried this on Shoddy, works OK. Its on my team of pink Pokemon, its shiny.

Anti November 20th, 2007 7:21 PM

Um, subseeders kind of need lefties. More recover they need (wow, just pulled a Yoda ;)) Really, you shouldn't be sticking around to get ice beamed to your doom anyways.

Eos Aduro November 20th, 2007 8:46 PM

Riiiight, Yache Berry saved it twice by suprise Pokes with ice moves. NEVER expected HP Ice on Dragonite. But lefties Ok!

Samson November 20th, 2007 9:17 PM

why would dragonite have hp ice when it has access to ice beam ._.

and subseeding isn't an option for jumpluff unless it goes all out Stun Spore.

Eos Aduro November 20th, 2007 9:18 PM

I dunno, I was confused too, it was on Shoddy so maybe as a suprise?

I know this is probably a really nooby question lol.. but what's the difference between Shoddy and Netbattle?

luke November 20th, 2007 9:35 PM

Netbattle = 3rd Gen
Shoddy = 4th Gen

Eleventyseventy November 21st, 2007 4:53 AM

Ahh ok..
Cool, thanks.

Any particular reason they go by those names though?

Maria Santos November 22nd, 2007 6:03 PM

Alrighty!

Alright, thanks for your help guys! I really appreciate it!
