ok this team is good... but your lacking a fire and flying/dragon type. my suggestion would be to get a flygon or dragonite and drop the umbreon (since u have gengar) and get a rapidash or magmortar

No, no, that's not how team building works. You don't put Pokemon on a team based on what type it is (although that is a factor), you put them on based on their roles. Taking out Umbreon because Gengar is on a team is retarded, as they serve very different roles.

As for what your team needs, it needs another wall. I'd recommend a physical wall- Steelix, Forretress, Skarmory, or Gliscor could help.

But if i put in another wall that leaves me with only one physical sweeper which im pretty sure is not good

sims796 November 22nd, 2007 7:50 AM

Actually, its not bad. You only need 1. You can have more if you want.

True, which is why you might be better off replacing one of your Special sweepers with a physical sweeper. To be honest, physical sweepers are more valuable than Special sweepers, since all physicals aren't entirely walled by a single Pokemon (Blissey singlehandegly walls just about any special attacker in the game).

sims796 November 22nd, 2007 7:51 AM

She can even block a physical move or two :)

Default November 22nd, 2007 7:55 AM

any ideas on a good physical sweeper to add then?

airconditioning November 22nd, 2007 8:00 AM

Well, if Vire gets a Motor Drive boost, he can outrun just about anything in the game that's not scarfed, so you might want someone a bit bulkier. If you decide to replace Starmie, maybe you could try Bulkydos.

Gyarados @ Lefties
Adamant
212hp/16atk/180def/100spd
-Dragon Dance
-Taunt
-Waterfall/ Ice Fang
-Earthquake

I prefer Ice Fang over Taunt, as Tauntrados is ridiculously easy to wall. ;)

dont realy wan't to get rid of starmmie but what about a medicham?

Anti November 22nd, 2007 9:01 AM

Medicham is a beast:

Medicham @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Pure Power
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Brick Break / Hi Jump Kick
- Psycho Cut
- Fire Punch / Thunderpunch
- Ice Punch / Thunderpunch

I think it was...

Default November 22nd, 2007 9:07 AM

I like the sound of medicham but how much recoil damage do you take if hi jump kick misses?

Anti November 22nd, 2007 9:08 AM

A lot.

But it packs quite a punch kick ;)

Default November 22nd, 2007 9:16 AM

lol Think im going to go with medicham. Anybody know a good ev spread for electivire?

Anti November 22nd, 2007 9:18 AM

there really is no point in using both...IMO

sims796 November 22nd, 2007 9:21 AM

I'm just gonna add, on airconditioning's set, Stone Edge should go over Earthquake, UNLESS you will be easily walled.

Anti November 22nd, 2007 9:30 AM

You aren't too easily walled if you go with ice fang...but yeah, with waterfall you kinda are...stone edge and EQ form the famous quakeslide combo, which has nice coverage.

sims796 November 22nd, 2007 10:07 AM

With Stone Edge, you don't lose Ice Fang power.

Eos Aduro November 22nd, 2007 5:35 PM

You dont really need both Starmie and Gengar. And maybe you could stick a physical tank, like Rhyperior or Donphan in there.

Gengar @ focus sash
Evs: 252 Satt, 252 spd, 6 Hp
Timid
-shadow ball
-T-bolt
-focus blast
-HP Electric/Grass

Simply changed the Destiny Bond for HP Electric/Grass. Whichever you choose will be helpful, with HP Electric for those such as Gyarados, and HP Grass for those annoying Tankperts that I so often run into...

Starmie @ Life orb/ ???
Evs: 252spd, 252 Satt, 6 hp
Timid
-Surf
-T-bolt
-ice beam/ psychic
- Rapid spin

I'm sorry to say I am not accustomed to starmie, so I cannot give advice here...
Electivire @ Expert Belt
Evs: 252 Spd, 176 Atk, 80 Sp. Atk
Lonely
-T-bolt
-Cross chop
-Earthquake
-Ice punch

Standard Vire set, but with Thunderbolt over Thunderpunch for Skarm. 80 Sp. Atk EV's and Lonely nature means that Thunderbolt is stronger than Thunderpunch anyway.

Bronzong @ Leftovers
Evs: 252 Hp, 152 Atk, 98 Sp. Def, 8 Def
Relaxed
-Stealth Rock/Explosion
-Gyro Ball
-Earthquake
-Hypnosis/Explosion

With this, you are able to get the most out of your moves. A 0 spd IV and -Speed nature = 63 spd @ lv 100, making it pretty much the slowest thing around. This makes for one massively powerful Gyro Ball, with Explosion there when you are running low on health. (And to take out other annoying walls)

Umbreon @ Leftovers
Evs: 252 hp, 129 Def 129 Sdef
Careful
-Confuse Ray/Moonlight
-Yawn
-Curse/Taunt
-Confuse Ray/Wish

Basically, just a staller. Moonlight to recover, although you may not care about that, because you won't be doing any damage. Yawn for that sleep inducer, where you can set up a wish, then Confuse Ray, then switch to heal. Helpful indeed, but you amy want to think about another pokemon other than Umbreon. Milotic is a good option.

Hopefully this will help.

regards,

~M51
