You Battle Tower teams ?
I thought id play the battle tower for a while and get some points to buy random things with. Although mainly i wanted to see how far id get without getting HAXED !!
Anyways ive just got to 51 battles won in a row and still going(this is the second time ive got to 51 won so far) my team [email protected] Adamant Nature 212 HP / 16 ATT / 180 DEF / 100 SPEED - Dragon Dance - Waterfall - Stone Edge - Taunt My lead and a great one at that due to its ability, also anti double team hax and bulkiness of my team aswell as functioning as a sweeper. Lives up to the name of bulkydos. It actually survived a Charge Beam from a Magnezone 0_o. [email protected] Scarf Adamant Nature 104 ATT / 152 SPEED / 252 ATT Trait : Guts - Close Combat - Megahorn - Sleep Talk - Stone Edge This is basically my back up sweeper and revenge killer, hits hard and built to abuse Guts. Also its my anti Sleep hax with sleep talk. The battle tower trainers need to learn not to use Toxic and Toxic Spikes so much lol (Anti Palmer XD) [email protected] Sash Timid Nature 252 SPEED / 252 SP.ATT / 6 HP - Shadow Ball - Focus Blast - Hypnosis - Thunderbolt This is my special sweeper. Put things to sleep and sweep. Or take the hit and hang on with the sash and sleep it/Sweep. What are your battle tower teams and how many battles in a row did they win for you ? |
I made it to 53 with this team a long time ago:
Medicham @ Choice Scarf ** Raffine Ability: Pure Power EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Psycho Cut - Fire Punch - Ice Punch - High Jump Kick Total nastiness. Porygon-Z @ Life Orb Ability: Adaptability EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Tri Attack - Dark Pulse - Thunderbolt - Ice Beam Tyranitar @ Lum Berry Ability: Sand Stream EVs: ??? Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance - Crunch - Earthquake - Stone Edge I don't remember the EVs since I lost its IVs when I trained it back on Emerald a long time ago. I know it has 368 HP, with 367 Attack, and 214 Speed. But even still, I bet this thing made Palmer mad when I fought him the second time. His Cresselia couldn't EVEN touch it. Although that's the team I used, I sensed a big bit if inferiority with it, so I'm working on making a new Battle Tower team. One that can actually help me achieve 100 battles. |
Here's mine
[email protected] Nature:Adamant Waterfall EQ Taunt Dragon Dance EV:Standard Tauntdos That SOB Dusclopes Double Teamed so he was untouchable, then SPAMMED with Protect (working a damn 7 TIMES IN A ROW) then Toxic'd me to death. Tauntdos beat that bastard good. [email protected] Nature:Impish Wood Hammer EQ Stone Edge Synthesis EV:252 HP/148 DEF/108 ATK This is my wall, & to counter that #$%&* Shedinja. [email protected] Sash Nature:Modest T-bolt Nasty Plot Grass Knot Focus Blast EV:252 SP.ATK/252 SPD/6 HP Sp.Sweeper. Stops that little punk Milotic. |
Yipes. I have to dig VERY deep...
Scpetile @ Leftovers Trait: Overgrow EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunderpunch - Hidden Power [Ice] - Substitute - Leech Seed This thing took forever to get. It wasn't really worth it...but oh well. Snorlax @ Choice Band Trait: Thick Fat EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Earthquake - Body Slam - Shadow Ball - Brick Break Where CBlax came from ;) Gyarados @ Leftovers Trait: Intimidate EVs: 212 HP / 16 Atk / 180 Def / 100 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Earthquake - Return - Dragon Dance - Taunt No way I was breeding for HP Flying after a month with Scepy ;) Swept through most of emerald's battle frontier. |
I haven't played Battle Tower in a while. I don't remember the movesets and I'm too lazy to look them up 8D
Cresselia Sharpedo Gengar ~ Azonic |
i don't really have a specific team, but i always use Specs Octillery in the battle tower. i dunno why, but it seems to do quite well.

hmmmmm i use..
CMcune D-Dnite Cradily yeah i haven't done the battel tower in a while now... |
My current team is the following:
Weavile @ Focus Sash Trait: Pressure EV: 6 HP / 252 Att / 252 Speed Nature: Jolly Swords Dance Night Slash Ice Punch Brick Break Ok, this guy is fun to use. I tried Life Orb in the BT and it wasn't as effective, so I'm using Sash and it works better for him. Swords Dance, survive the hit, and do loads of damage. Starmie @ Choice Specs Trait: Natural Cure EV: 6 HP / 252 Speed / 252 SpAtt Nature: Timid Surf Ice Beam Thunderbolt Psychic Having a Timid Ditto with 31 IV in Speed made breeding this guy so much easier. Ok, not the fastest sweeper in the world, but still pretty nice with the variety of moves. Steelix @ Leftovers Trait: Sturdy EV: 252 HP / 56 Att / 200 Def Nature: Impish Earthquake Rock Slide Roar Explosion Steelix is great cos he can come in on a lot of things. Deals with those OHKO users who think they can be funny (apart from the Mold Breaker Pinsir with Guillotine and a Quick Claw, which I've not seen so far). Roar is good for those DT users (although it does take a few turns normally to get through). When running low on health, he can blow up. |
