My New Team!! Suggestions?
[email protected] Claw
Ability: Inner Focus EV: HP336/ Att303/ D223/SpD233 Nature:Serious -Focus Punch -Earthquake -Dragon Dance -Outrage [email protected] Earth Plate Ability: Sand Stream EV: HP346/ Att347/ D274/ SpD258 Nature:Brave -Fire Blast -Stone Edge -Crunch -Earthquake [email protected] Dragon Fang Ability: Sand Veil EV: HP366/ Att273/ D272/ SpD208/ Spe. 242 Nature:Bold -Surf -Fire Blast -Dragon Claw -Crunch [email protected] Incense Ability: Synchronize EV: HP247/ SpA283/ SpD226/ Spe.274 Nature: Hardy -Energy Ball -Psychic -Shadow Ball -Reflect [email protected] Plate Ability:Torrent EV: HP363/ Att247/ D222/ SpA226/ SpD225 Nature:Modest -Blizzard -Hammer Arm -Hydropump -Earthquake [email protected] Ability:Volt Absorb EV: HP271/ SpA279/ SpD250/ Spe.321 Nature: Mild -Double Team -Thunder Wave -Thunder -Last Resort Any suggestions on holding items of movesets...please tell me :) |
Um, the max ammount of EVs you can use is 510 ;/
?
How can you max out that high?
And those items, are not very good at all. Any items like SplashPlate that only increase moves of one type suck, becuas you should only have one attacking move of one type on eahc Poke, for the most part. Each stat can only have a max of 252 EVs, and 510 overall.
What items do you recommend??
Actually the max per stat is 255, but yeah, 252 does the same thing ;)
Erm, nuetral natures are bad. REALLY bad :/ EDIT: Put leftovers on EVERYTHING for now-we'll get you better items later, but you can never go wong with lefties, except shedninja ;) |
Yeah... lol so does anyone recommend any items
Hmm, well Im no expert on the items of ANY of your pokes. Im usually good at that.
Dragonite-Leftovers/Yache Berry Tyranitar-Leftovers? 0_o Garchomp-Choice Scarf/Life Orb Alakazam-Wise Glasses? Swampert-Lefotvers, know that one Jolteon-??? No clue Thanks for being new, and not being obnoxious! (Im actually serious, most new members are SO annoying) |
Read my edit...
And take out one of your dragons and probably jolteon, and add two walls. Nothign on your team can take a hit besides swampert. EDIT: Jolteon does fine with lefties or a pinch berry for the subpassers. |
who should i replace jolteon for??
A special wall, like Blissey or Cresselia etc.
A WALL.
In case you don't know what a wall is, it's something that is meant to take physical hits (physical walls), special hits (special walls), or any hit (mixed walls) and take minimal damage. Skarmory is a great physical wall, blissey a tremendous special wall, and claydol = win as a mixed wall ;) |
im thinking replacing jolteon with Blissy...
That is a very wise decision. Blissey in there will do your team some serious good.
Blissey-Lefotvers Bold-252 HP, 252 Def, 4 Spdef (it NEEDS the defense) Softboiled Aromatherapy Ice Beam Seismic Toss Thats the normal set, and I like it Aromathepary removes ANY status inflictions on your team, a very handy tool, seismic toss is difficult to get, its a Emerald Move Tutor or Egg Move, I forget, And Ice Beam TM, Softboiled learns. |
Blissey (F) @ Leftovers ** Nurse of Death
Trait: Natural Cure EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 252 SAtk or SDef Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk) - Aromatherapy - Thunder Wave / Ice Beam - Seismic toss / Ice Beam - Softboiled Ice beam is great for McGar and dugtrio. |
which nature do you think blissey is best at??
Bold, 100% BOLD! Actually, its pretty much the only nature it can use.
Um, we both posted bold, which tells us what? Bold
EDIT: Um, no. Calm is actually needed for the uber tier ;) |
Yeah, but then you get tackled by a rattata and die, she NEEDS the defense.
haha alright...Bold it is!..... Any More Suggestions??

And yeah, you still need another wall, this time a physical wall like steelix or skarmory. |
do you think a rhyperior would work??
Rhyperior is a tank, not exactly a wall, and he does the same thing as Swampert. Skarmory and Blissey make a GREAT combo, SkarmBliss.
so basically a skarmory is the way to go... but who should i get rid of?? i already got rid of jolteon
Garchomp or dragonite. Since they both are loled at by starmie and the likes.
Garchomp and Dragonite do the same thing basically.
Wall Pokemon?
Which pokemon would be best.... skarmory, aggron, bastidon, dusknoir, steelix

Put Noir over Chomp, this is what it should look like-
Dusknoir @Leftovers Careful/Impish Nature EVs:200def/200spdef/108attk Shadow Sneak Will-O-Wisp Pain Split Seismic Toss/Earthquake/Fire Punch |
No, Dusk has 65 base HP- that needs to be maxed out before doing ANYTHING else.
Quote:
basically now im thinking either dusknoir or skarmory

I would listen to airconditioning, ShadowAzelf.
I'd reccomend Skarm, the Spikes/Stealth Rock can help you out and seeing how your team is taken out by a DDTar, then, it'll kinda help you out.
Oh... didn't see that <.<... please, ignore me, the noob... but, yeah, use Skarm |
Definitely take out Surf and Crunch on Garchomp, use Swords Dance/Earthquake
Or you could use ChainChomp:
Garchomp @ Life Orb Trait: Sand Veil Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Earthquake - Draco Meteor - Fire blast. Unless of course, Name, you want him to switch two moves out, because he already has fire blast and Draco meteor. But I dont know. 0_o |
so im thinking of having blissy duskinor dragonite swampert alakazam tyranitar
Quote:
Itachi, last I checked swampert isn't a sweeper :/
Quote:
so instead maybe blissy dragonite alakazam swampert rhyperior and tyranitar
Mixpert is WAY better than any other pert set, seeing as I've used all of them ;)
My Netbattle is shaky, I'll edit in a moveset when I can. EDIT: Adding rhyperior only makes grass knot destroy your team even more. |
Quote:
Swampert @ Leftovers Trait: Torrent EV's: 240 HP / 212 Def / 56 SAtk Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd) - Earthquake - Ice Beam - Surf / Hydro Pump - Stealth Rock / Roar / Protect. Mixed. I feel like only posting this right now. |
Swampert @ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SAtk Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd) - Hydro Pump - Earthquake - Ice Beam - Roar / Rest I think that's it... |
now i have dragonite blissey swampert alakazam and tyranitar... i cant think of anyone for the 6th slot though??
alright ive decided to have dragonite swampert alakazam tyranitar, and blissey... i have no idea who to put in the 6th slot though... any suggestions?? |

That set works in both generations. Hydro pump is oh so fun to use when weezing and skarm think they're all tough :P
