Any suggestions on sixth dragon.

Charizard or Gyarados might work well.

I'll leave movesets/evs to the professionals..

Sora_8920 November 26th, 2007 4:48 PM

Charizard and Gyarados aren't dragons. :/

Neither are Milotic or Regirock. But technically, Char and Gyara are both part of the dragon egg group.

Anyway, since few dragons function as walls (sans Milotic), you may want to make some of the Pokes you already have a bit bulkier. Maybe a Bulky Gyara or Bulky Dragonite.

ultranerd57 November 26th, 2007 4:51 PM

I'll go with Charizard.

[email protected] focus sash

Anti-pop and Iceman made this for me awhile back is it still useful.

Ah. I see. Bulkagyara is Tauntdos.. So..

Gyaradso @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Taunt
- Ice Fang/Waterfall
- Srone Edge/EArthquake
- Dragon Dance. Tauntdos. Effective. becasue you don't want your DD to get blown away. Never use Jolly on this.

Waffle-San November 26th, 2007 5:31 PM

Nice, Zard but I think it'd be wiser of you to go 100% special on it. Garchomp and Kingdra are the only ones with special moves and Kingdra scarfed. Special Zard is almost unheard of but it is quite effective.

Also
~Rain Dance
~Surf
~Ice Beam
~HP Ground

FTW on Kingdra. It's not quite as suited to be a lead this way, (except you may get a free Rain Dance in on a switch in) but it allows for better coverage. Kingra works better with Defense/HP support as well. Ice Beam covers everything Dragon does, you only lose STAB.
Of course if your worried about Ninjask's this probabley won't do.

I'm not sure your RegiRock needs maxed atk but nice team none the less. Who doesn't love the Dragons?

I'll go with this but what's FTW stand for? And what if I put atk EVs in hp instead.

Is there a way to make chomp bulkier?

Sora_8920 November 26th, 2007 5:44 PM

I think it means "For the win."

evilcheese November 26th, 2007 5:47 PM

ultranerd57 November 26th, 2007 5:51 PM

??????

charizard @choice scarf /choice specs**Da Devil

EV's 252 SAtk /252 Spd /6 HP
blaze
-air slash

I think I'll use HP fighting over focus blast for accuracy I've got time to breed.

I posted one too, actually.

ultranerd57 November 26th, 2007 7:26 PM

Updated first post unsure about Regirock though.

Waffle-San November 26th, 2007 9:33 PM

Well a Modest Kingdra should hae at least 108 EV's in my opinion, because, correct me if I'm wrong, I beleive with a rain Dance in effect that brings it's speed up to about 350.

Ancient Power's a possibility on Zard, probabley could be a real killer with Choice Cpecs.

~Flamethrower
~Air Slash
~HP {____}/Focus Blast Ancient Power
~Dragon pulse/Focus Blast/Ancient Power

Special Charizard isn't given nearly enough respect, juet like Rotom, it can be nasty with a Choice Scarf. Though that's way off topic.

n3croart November 26th, 2007 10:08 PM

Ummm..... Perhaps Flamethrower/FireBlast on Salamence in place of Brick Break. Also, you might wanna change Kingdra (my opinion, don't take it to serious...) milotic is your water type.

Arsibiyez November 27th, 2007 1:11 AM

You can have Fire Fang instead, if you're going all physical. Skarmory will be a little annoying since you're not likely to OHKO it with Fire Fang.

I could always switch to charizard before spikes are set up.

Anti November 27th, 2007 1:41 PM

With a max Spd IV, Kingdra doesn't needa single Spd EV. with modest.

ultranerd57 November 27th, 2007 3:20 PM

Well since no one knows about Regirock I'm gonna use another physical wall how 'bout Metagross except please no agiligross.

Sora_8920 November 27th, 2007 3:22 PM

Um. Agiligross works best. IMO. Why would you not use it?

Metagross @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Agility
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Thunderpunch.

Agiligross lost lots of power this gen. the best Gross set is probably CBgross ;/

Yeah I know it's great but I'm just weird kinda like why I'm not using specsmence. So if there's a tank set can someone please post it.

Anti November 27th, 2007 7:10 PM

Metagross @ Choice Band
Trait: Clear Body
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash
- Explosion
- Thunderpunch

FTW.

Depends on your use, its typing make's it flexible I guess, able to take moves from just about anyone. I still like my'n with more speed.

Well Kingdra's water/Dragon, which means Dragon is the only thing super effective against it, so common water weaknesses arn't as much of an issue.

Anti November 27th, 2007 7:12 PM

No, I mean Kingdra with a perfect speed IV in the rain outspeeds everything except the likes of ninjask. It reaches 206 Speed, which then goes to 412. I'd consider that enough ;)

Waffle-San November 27th, 2007 7:24 PM

Aah so it doubles, I thought it only when up by 1.5x I think I added a correct me if I'm wrong note. Well ya then, forget speed EV's.

Post 999!!!!!

thunderpunch isn't in agiligross.
and yeah, choiceband metagross is another good meta.
i've heard that agiligross is old style and people don't use it any more.
i still reckon its good.

ultranerd57 November 28th, 2007 1:25 PM

Ok Edited first post any other problems?
And for Metagross unfortunately I don't have Emerald so t-punch is out can I replace it with zen headbutt?

That or rock slide. It doesn't really matter which. you could also run a special attack like HP fire to catch skarm off guard, though I wouldn't recommend it.

Hm if I can get a strong enough HP I might run that.
Off-topic congrats on 5000 posts. :p

Well thanks ^_^ Because I have no life ;)

though rock slide is really better than zen headbutt or HP fire. Flyers switching in aren't going to like getting hit with a nasty CBed rock slide.

ultranerd57 November 28th, 2007 4:44 PM

Used this team on Shoddy i won 3 out of 5 battles but got walled by SkarmBliss and Shirashi's (hoped i spelled it right) Cresselia.
Should i replace something on Salamence for Crunch for Cressy protection?

Metagross > Cressilia ;) and if you're really afraid, I'd run CBcross.

Hmm CBcross would be good but now I'm getting conflicted 'cause of the next battle on Shoddy I caught the guys Cressy with my Gross' Explosion and It dropped down dead so if I continue having these problems I'll switch out Salamence for him.
I kinda like this team now gonna have to raise it on Pearl. <3

If you have to blow up metagross to kill Cressi, it's still a win for you if you strategize and plan ahead correctly during the battle.

I'm not battling anybody until I make my team in shoddy as close in similarites to my ADV team as possible. Yes, I'm that ignorant ;)

And yeah, the team is looking pretty good. I'll analyze it later, I'm watching the Big ten ACC challenge ;)

OMG if you make a team like that it's gonna be a fun battle.

Okay, let's not stray from topic, no matter how irresistable I am ;) Though I wouldn't be so stupid as to run HP flying on a 4th gen CBmence ;)
