Don't you mean atk not sp atk =0

Oh yeah, my bad. I was thinking of his CM set, which is the only set that I could think of that gave him bulk.

ultranerd57 December 2nd, 2007 12:14 PM

Ok so what's Dusknoir nature and EV spread?

Anti December 2nd, 2007 12:15 PM

Oh sorry I saw Yanmega and forgot about Dusknoir for a minute ok so is there anything else that needs fixing or am I done?

Anti December 2nd, 2007 12:20 PM

Snorlax needs AT LEAST 160 HP EVs. You don't need that much SDef at all.

Unfortunately it does need that much Sp.Def if it wishes to survive attacks from nasty Plotters, Aura Sphere and Focus Blast.

Anti December 2nd, 2007 12:35 PM

My my, things have changed so much :0 It still needs HP, you'll have to sacrifice Atk or Def EVs to add HP to it.

Samson December 2nd, 2007 1:05 PM

well first, i'd give entei sub over roar. there's no point in giving it roar if it can't take hits.

secondly, it does need HP evs. if you want it to contend with blissey and faster switch-ins, then you definitely want enough to hit the 404 mark. it is also very reliable at taking certain hits. 100 base SPD isn't as much as a prize as it was last gen.

finally, give it wide lens too boost accuracy for all of his moves. here's what i suggest:

Entei @ Wide Lens
Adamant Nature
252 ATK/132 HP/124 SPD
-Fire Fang
-Stone Edge
-Will-o-Wisp
-Substitute

i personally prefer a +Sp Atk nature with Fire Blast to hit bulky grounds harder, but WoW takes care of them fairly well.

Anti December 2nd, 2007 1:38 PM

I don't really see the point of pumpimp HP into it to beat bliss if it can't attack it hard enough to really beat the puffball. shame HP is special now :(

ultranerd57 December 2nd, 2007 2:39 PM

Ok Snorlax got hp from Def and Entei changed too.

Sora_8920 December 2nd, 2007 5:03 PM

Curselax's EV's looks like this, ultranerd: 76 HP / 44 Atk / 136 Def / 252 SpD

Sorry I haven't been here in a while cause my computer broke but now I'm back.

I origionally had this Itachi but APCW13 told me to change it.

Anti December 4th, 2007 1:05 PM

Yeah, because Snorlax likes its HP EVs. Even if they ARE standard, I don't like them. Curse covers attack well enough, put some of those (and a few Def) EVs into HP for more survivability.

ultranerd57 December 4th, 2007 1:17 PM

So is there anything else on my team that needs fixing anything at all?

Good luck surviving Aura Spheres from Choice Specs Lucario and Focus Blast's from Specs Gengar and Alakazam with that few sp.def ev investments. Also Specs Mencs, Nasty Plot Azelf and porygon -Z will lol at you otherwise.

The spread is 76 HP / 44 ATT / 252 SP.DEF / 138 DEF. do. now lol

350 special defense is needed for Snorlax to take one the high-powered special threats of DP;, a Choice Specs Salamence Draco Meteor does about 55%; a Nasty Plot Porygon-Z Tri Attack with Adaptibility could still do 73% with this spread (76 HP / 44 ATT / 252 SP.DEF / 138 DEF). See if you run any less its bad news for lax. Basically it needs max sp.def. This is standard D/P Curselax. By standard D/P I mean Things have changed so much this gen that snorlax no longer a psuedo invincible wall after a few curses. 76 Hp evs is enough which gives it 480 Hp. You have Curse to buff up your def so it cancels out the need to invest Hp evs for that purpose. Max sp.def also cancels that need out. I have experience with using this ev spread and i can tell you it works fine.

Anti December 4th, 2007 5:57 PM

I'd give it 40 more HP EVs. I might be stuck in another gen, but I've used anorlax long enough in D/P top tell you that it needs at least 480 HP, though IMO it needs more.
