Azonic December 5th, 2007 3:14 PM

Choice Band has absolutely no use if a pokemon is a Special Attacker.

You'd better watch out for AgilGross. It can be a real pain, especially if it carries Hammer Arm + Meteor Mash.

Sora_8920 December 5th, 2007 3:15 PM

Also, HP Fire is lol. Rapid Spin/Psychic plzthxbai.

Also, Azonic, Agiligross Isn't that much of a threat in 4th Gen, which is what your Rating his Team by. ;)

Sora_8920 December 5th, 2007 3:51 PM

I can't really Rate the others... And here..

Shiraishi December 5th, 2007 5:28 PM

luke December 5th, 2007 7:19 PM

Why would you post spam like that? Don't do it again Aelita.

Eos Aduro December 5th, 2007 8:18 PM

Im not sure, but did Stockpile still increase the defense in third gen? Because if not, then it wont do anything besides waste a turn.

Yes, you're quite correct. Also, run the standard Lax EVs, I don't know them. Erm, I think they're in Compiled guides.

And really, how hard is it to rwead the "3rd gen" part? O_o

I finally know what you mean by that.

But I found out the hard way that stockpile does absolutely nothing in the third gen so I decided to go with Sludge Bomb.

Put EQ on Machamp for coverage.

And where do you go to access the Logs that the server keeps for you? because I just fought this nuber ( about 3 minutes ago) and it was very hilarious because he lost very easily and I need to post it.

[email protected] lefties
Trait: Natural cure
EVs: 252spd/ 252spatk/ 6hp
Timid
-Ice beam
-Surf
-Psychic
-Thunderbolt

HP is to say "Hello" to forry, scizor and other steel or bugs.

CB only works for physical attackers...

[email protected] leftovers
Trait: Thick fat
EVs: 200hp/ 252def/ 58spdef
Careful
-Curse
-Return / Body Slam / Shadow Ball
-Rest
-EQ / Shadow Ball

I think EVs are right. DA its third gen I'm going with Anti.

Use stnadard EVs, as unlike the 4th gen standard EVs, the standard is good :P

[email protected] Black sludge
Trait: Sticky hold
EVs: 252hp/ 172spdef/ 86def
Relaxed
-Rest
-Sludge Bomb
-Toxic
-Pain split

Little something I found on a Youtube match and I like it.

O_O Black sludge doesn't exist in 3rd gen O_O And this does nothinmg for your team, seriously...

[email protected] leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252hp/ 100spdef/ 100spatk/ 58def
-CM
-Flamethrower
-HP ice
-substitute

Its physical movepool is more limited in third gen so I made it into a CMcune knockoff. =]

Needs more SAtk because of its low base, and maybe more speed. Sub takes advantage of its mega HP and can allow you to CM up.

[email protected] lefties/ choice band
Trait: Guts
EVs: 252spd/ 172hp/ 86atk
-Cross Chop
-Rock slide
-Hidden Power [Bug]
-Focus Punch

Status absorber. at a loss for fourth move though.

EQ adds no coverage :/ HP Bug for psychic switch-ins, though I'm not too sure if it's a common switch-in anymore.

[email protected] lefties
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 252hp/ 200spdef/ 58def
Careful
-Brick break
-EQ
-Roar
-Return

Phazer.

Does nothing snorlax doesn't besides roar. Replace for a physical wall, as you lack one.

Edit in bold. Any CBer shreds this team. Get something like donphan to prevent that...and wall other physical attackers.

EDIT: Posting logs about beating n00bs = NO. Also, why do you need a fighting move? My team doesn't have one, it does just fine thank you.

Ops forgot to get rid of black sludge. =/
How about Weezing to take its place?
For HP on Machamp ghost would be better for the ghost switch ins assuming that I'd use a fighting move.
How about replacing Granbull with Forretress?

Predict gengar and use rock slide ;) Or just switch to a counter right off the bat.

Weezing works great though. And yeah, forry is cool, but why would you need two physical walls? I'd choose weezing since it can take on most any CBer.

Ok so what should I add in its place cause I really need a rapid spinner

Anti December 7th, 2007 1:46 PM

Notice starmie can spin ;) Over psychic.

Whatever Swalot can do in standard, Muk can do better. Better HP (base 105), better Atk (base 105), better SDef (base 100). It can survive Psychic attacks and lol back with a STAB'd Sludge Bomb. If you predict switch-ins of Ground-types, Focus Punch makes a huge dent in them, if not an OHKO. And if I remember correctly, Muk was still BL in 3rd Gen. Fire Blast potentially 2HKOs Skarmory that want to wall you. Though Focus Punch hurts that a lot, too.

Hm what would moves, EVs, etc be?

Anti December 8th, 2007 4:29 PM

I wouldn't use Muk either as you'd still be very weak to Choice Band attackers. you need a STRONG physical wall ASAP.

Skarmory will definitely work but I don't know nature or EVs and I added Whiscash over Granbull for a boltbeam knockoff.

Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Spikes
- Rest / Substitute

Thanks.
And everyone knows starmies a boltbeamer so they switch out but no one except people who use Whiscash know it gets spark so I'll have the element of surprise.
At least thats my logic.
Maybe I could put another Rapid spinner though like Claydol.

[email protected] leftovers
EVs: 252spd/ 60spatk/ 198atk
Trait:???
Naughty
-Explosion
-Rapid spin
-Psychic
-EQ

What about this?
