Is it possible?
I have a question O_o.
You know how on the GameCube there is a memory card A slot and a memory card B slot? Well I know that you can copy files from one memory card to another and im assuming when you do that you actually make a duplicate of the file. I havent yet tried it. So WHY don’t people get a game like colosseum, get all the rare good Pokemon on there, trade their best Pokemon from R/S onto colosseum then duplicate the save file? Wouldn’t that mean the Pokemon are duplicated with the file and can be traded back from both cards so you have two of them all, when you switch memory cards? It sounds too good to be true O_o is that possible to do *hasn’t tried it yet* or is there something that prevents that from being done? I doubt its possible (like I said, sounds too good to be true) but I figured I might as well ask. |
Yes it is soph I have done that before. I have a ton of good pokemon thanks to that thing

I’m quite sure it’s one of those saves that can’t be copied—I don’t even think it can be moved to another card. Just checked, doesn’t work. ^_^; Unless you’ve got a tricked out memory card, can’t copy them.

what???!!! So Nintendo made it so you cant copy the files?
*confused* one person says yes another no O_0. Which is correct? But they shouldnt dissalow saves, I mean what if you wanted to backup your game save because you had spent so long on it? |
The reason why moving and copying Pokémon Colosseum data is disable because Nintendo consider that as cheating and/or doesn't want you to make a copy for your friend (BTW, I don't consider moving data from one memory card to another cheating. They shouldn't disable that).
Other games I know that disable moving/copying save game data from memory card to another are Chao data in SA2: Battle, Phantasy Star Online Episode 1&2, Phantasy Star Online Episode 3 and Animal Crossing. As you can tell by those game, there's is a reason why Nintendo has a feature on the save game data that can tell the system BIOS Memory Card menu to disable moving/copying when you select those games. The only way (I think) you can actually make a copy of save game data is to buy the USB Memory Card that allow you to send and receive GCN save game data on your computer. |
I dont understand what you mean with the computer thing...whats a USB memory card?
