Good Place to train?

I really want Charizard and Venusaur on my PBR gam but they arent strong enough with the rest of my team and are takingn year to train.

Any suggestions where to train?

MegaMushroom07 December 8th, 2007 6:23 AM

To EV train? Check the FAQ. Otherwise, Elite 4.

Eruption December 8th, 2007 6:25 AM

E4 my best option?

Its gonna take ages whatever way I go then...

MegaMushroom07 December 8th, 2007 6:28 AM

Well, if you play online, it doesn't matter about levels.

You could clone some Rare Candies.

Eruption December 8th, 2007 6:29 AM

1. Wi-fi :(
2. Wi-fi :(

I dont have an option at all.

MegaMushroom07 December 8th, 2007 6:31 AM

Ah....I see. The Battle Island is a good place; Full of level 60s.

scorpyo December 8th, 2007 12:31 PM

It really depends on what level they are. I would personally equip them with exp. shares and get a water or a pokemon that knows earthquake to train on the pokemon in stark mountain.

Eruption December 8th, 2007 12:36 PM

And how much exp per pokemon defeated ould I get off that, scorpy?

Skaterzpenguin December 8th, 2007 12:42 PM

Stark mountain, sendoff spring/turnback cave, victory road/route 224, snowpoint temple, survival area/route 225, routes 226, 227, 228, 229, 230, and Iron island. These are the places are really good to trained at and EV train.

scorpyo December 8th, 2007 12:43 PM

I forgot exactly how much, but I think around 600 or so. But since your pokemon is water or knows earthquake, it's a fairly quick method. But you might want to test it out first. Also, the pool on the left road branching off from the resort area has some lvl 30 to 50 gyarados, which give about 1000-1600 exp each (if theyr'e traded)

Not traded. I had to breed the little #@!#@[email protected] didn't I?

scorpyo December 8th, 2007 12:47 PM

Dang, but Stark Mountain is a good place to train too, you know.

Seventyxxtimes7x December 8th, 2007 12:48 PM

What i would do. is get the item "EXP.Share" give it to a weak pokemon (Or it doesn't have to be weak). Then battle with a diff pokemon. and go to survival area or Stark Mountain and start battleing.

Eruption December 8th, 2007 12:51 PM

So, Exp. share @ Stark Mountain is my best bet?

Lets hope I want my Level 50-odd Charizard soon.

Thanks all and still taking any other suggestions.

scorpyo December 8th, 2007 12:53 PM

OK, good luck with it. :) If Start Mountain doesn't work, then remember that there's always some other nice training spots as well.

Seventyxxtimes7x December 8th, 2007 12:56 PM

exp share gives half of the exp for every pokemon you beat to the pokemon that doesnt have to battle.

So it would be like you are training 2 pokemon at once =D

Myoko-chan December 8th, 2007 6:32 PM

It depends on what level is your Pokemon right now, if it's about 70-100, I would recommend it holding Lucky Egg, and keep going through E4.

ABYAY December 8th, 2007 6:47 PM

2 words: Lucky Egg

This item is found on wild Chansey 5% of the time.

Get a low-level pokemon (like a Girafarig at lv. 20), get it Thief, and go to the route just above the daycare (has a lot of tall grass)

This can take a while. Search for Chansey, and use Thief on each of them. Most of them hold Oval Stones, but if you're lucky, it'll hold a Lucky Egg. MAKE SURE GIRAFARIG IS HOLDING NOTHING! You can't thief if you're holding an item, so just make sure any item you get, take off before trying to find Chansey again.

Depending on the levels of your other Pokemon, I would suggest giving the pokemon you plan on raising an exp. share and going to the Battle Island, then (if you haven't already done the event at Stark Mtn.) go to Stark Mtn. with a Pokemon that knows Surf and go into the Double Battles, then just use Surf the guy with the red hair (I can't remember his name, tsk) will heal your Pokemon and His after the battle, plus you get exp. from defeating two Pokemon.

Your idea is fail.

- You can't use HMs while you have a partner (I think)
- You can't team up with him after the Heatran thing.
- I don't remember a surfing area in Stark Mountain, or maybe I'm just blind.

ABYAY December 8th, 2007 8:44 PM

He means to fight pokemon INSIDE Stark Mountain using Surf. lol with Buck (the guy with the red hair)

Still, you can't team up with Buck again after you kill/catch Heatran.

SytheXP December 8th, 2007 11:01 PM

IMO its easier to train traded pokemon so get a friend to level them for you and you do the same for them. I got a haunter lvl 35 and its now in the 60s exp share only btw, It lvls faster than normal it has dbl exp of what it normaly would get so half what the main poke earner x2 = what the traded exp share equiped poke gets whic=easy fast leveling and as for area thats your call but somewhere with lvl 40-80 pokes for a lvl 50-99 and if its below that i recomend the routes near snowpoint city i thinks what its called.

Eruption December 9th, 2007 6:56 AM

Okay you guys are saying get a lucky egg but what does that do?

ABYAY December 9th, 2007 10:11 AM

I forgot to note that.

A lucky Egg increases experienced gained to 1.5x (meaning if you'd get 1000 exp, you get 1500). Also, if the pokemon is traded, it will get 2.25x while holding the egg (2250 instead of 1000...can't be a better deal)

Chickenzilla December 9th, 2007 10:58 AM

Go E4, exp share them, then you'll go up a few levels every time through

Eruption December 9th, 2007 11:35 AM

Thanks all.

I'll be searching for a lucky egg then.

SytheXP December 9th, 2007 12:02 PM

Or what i said But i agree with the lucky egg as well. Im bout done with E4 for my first time so ima migrate then EV train my Riolu to be a sweeper ^.^ I may use the lucky egg to get levels faster and get my movesets in order.

Shiny December 9th, 2007 10:36 PM

The best way as suggested before is the Elite Four
