longest time (non-stop) you played a game
What is your longest time playing a game non-stop?
My record: 1. When my parents were on vacation i played Diablo II nonstop for 14 hours. (note: this was on summer vacation) From 1:30pm to 3:30am. All I devoured was 5 cans of vanilla coke and 3 packets of instant noodles and went to the washroom 5 times.. 2. (note this was also on summer vacation) My mom and dad took me to a restruant to eat with my cousins..(I had a gameboy advance SP ) when they were eating i secretly played. when i slept i kept playing till 5:30am starting from 7:30 to 5:30 that equals 10 hours (hehe..good luck SP has a light ability) Post you records here. I'm sure it'l be interesting too! |
This belongs in the Other Games section. ^_^; I'll move it for you.
Anyways, the longest time I've played a game...? Hmm, I'd say almost all day. I take my Sapphire Version with me whenever I'm going to another town, usually somewhere like Dallas, which is two hours away, and I play it while my mom is doing boring stuff, lol. [EDIT] Ohh, wait! I just remembered about Harvest Moon 64. That game is so fun and addicting! Whenever I rent it, I usually play it to the point where my mom yells at me to get off. O_o I mean, I stay on all day until night time, and I usually end up going to bed late. It only happens with that game... It makes me want to live on a farm, in that certain town, with a bunch of animals! I really recommend those games, if you can go without action. They are just fun. |
well humm... me and my cous played conflick desert storm 2 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 am so *thinks* 17 hours straight
I've played Super Smash Brothers Meelee from like 5:00 PM to 7:00 in the morning... with my brother
I managed to play the awsomeness that is Gotcha Force with my best friend from 11 am to 10 Pm
Well, some times i go play halo with my older brother and his friends, and some times that can go up to about 7 hours (from 12am to 7am) :D
I can't think of anyother game i played for that long :confused: |

Does having the game turned-on on purpose without playing counts? Because I left it all the night turned-on in SSBM with 3 controllers plugged in to get Mewtwo the next morning :P
Other games are Zelda: Majora's Mask, which I played from 7 am to 5 pm, while eating pancakes all the afternoon... Between 2-5 hours are super smash bros. 64, zelda: ocarina of time and pokemon sapphire |
Played Wind Waker for 9 hours straight once... o.o;
And then recently I played Colleseum for 7 hours straight. x_X |
I played Colesseum for 15 hours straight XD. I was tryin to get Ho-oh.
Lol wow so many game freaks(sorri) here just like me!
24 hours. Of course it wasn't on the same game, 12 hours of DDR, followed by 12 of SSBM. All we had to keep us going was 48 cans of Vanilla Coke and 3 pizzas. This was among 16 people at a Japanese club party.
I've Played Super Smash Bros. Melee at my friend's house from after dinner to breakfast, that's a good 10 or 11 hours. Although I might have got up to go to the bathroom. Does that still count? Also I played Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 for 24 hours straight. 6 in the morning to 6 in the morning. That career mode can be so addicting, plus I was racing my friend to see who could beat it first when it first came out.
I've played all the tony hawk games for over 12 hours each. For the playstation and PS2 I mean. |
me? well tony hawks underground for about.....34 min.
MMBN3 White-i borrowed it from my buddy [@ about 3 PM], and i played it till i got home [15 mins later] and put it on the charger [GBA SP]. i went and got a pop and started playin again [For about 3 hrs]. ate supper [30 mins]. played it till 9 [had to go brush teeth o.0] my mom was sleeping, and so was my dad, and so i took my GBA SP upstairs [my bedroom's upstairs] and played it till 2 AM next day ^^ good thing it was summer break :P i did the same thing w/ Ruby, only that was school nite...so 23 hrs! o.o i didn't know that! I've played alot of games for alot of hours straight, but the latest I could remember was playing and finishing Halo with my cousin for like over 7 hours straight (plus small eating, and washroom breaks between cutscenes), and that was last Thursday...
Hmm. Interesting question, though no one particular instance stands out. Usually if there’s a new video game my friend and I have when she’s over, we’ll play it for the duration of the time she’s over – sleep, so that could be like 14~15 hours. @[email protected];
If you're talking about without sleep, without getting up and going to the bathroom or to eat, then I'd have to say only about 20-26 hours or so, because eventually you have to get up to bleed the lizard. That was actually recently, with Spiderman 2. Need to get those awards.
If you're talking about actually getting up occasionally for obvious reasons, I played roughly 2 and 1/2 days of Crash Bandicoot. It was when it first came out for PS, and i just couldn't stop playing. By the end of it I was beat, and I slept the week away. Basically. |
I suppose the longest I played a game was from about 9:00 to 5:00 give or take a few minutes. I played Ace Combat Four the whole game through, interludes and briefings and all on Expert Mode using a pre-determined set of aircraft. It took a long time, but it was worth it.
Hm... a few years ago, I played Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast from about 10am until 11pm or so. I think that's about the longest, since I hardly took any breaks (no wonder I beat that game so fast)...
The longest I've played a game non-stop is probably Final Fantasy 9. I played it from 7pm till 2am o.O
I would have to say Paper Mario. Not only did I play that game from sunrise to sunset the first time I got it, but I've played it over and over again. The fact that it was fun wasn't my only motivation though. My sister simply adored it, and wanted me to keep playing, hehe.
Other really addicting games were the pokemon series, the other Mario RPG's, Animal Crossing, (I played that game soo much.... and it takes at least a year to beat it, heh) SSBM, the Banjo-Kazooie series, and the Harvest Moon games. I just bought 'Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life', so I'm playing it all the time, hehe. It really is amazing how addicting the game can be... |
SSBM- 12 hours i pulled an all nighter playin that game *giggles*
well right now.. with breaks playing the LONGEST is kill.harp who played 60 hours.......... wow.. just amazing!
I have a friend who every time I see him( about 2 times a month) Plays whatever first person shooter he can find until he beats it multiple times. like two to four times, usually about 7 hours. not that 7 hours is much to play a game for, but it's the nearly every time thing that is amazing. If he cant find a new game, he'll play a game that he's owned for years and beat it over and over like he's never played it before. I don't really understand it.
