Rate my team, Homie. Fershizzle.

*Please excuse the thread title. I honestly had no idea WTF to name it <_<

Right, so! I stopped playing pokemon like, last month, but I just wanted to see how the team I had been using would have worked out if I ever actually decide to play it again. Oh, and plus I just wanted to see how sims would rate my team, seeing as this is like..the only forum he still posts in T_T

Yeah dude..yeah. Thanks for point that out >.>

Okay, just a question: is there any reason you cut Crobat out of your post just now? XD

flamehaze94 December 27th, 2007 3:31 PM

god....i'd kill for that Shana sig ;__;

Donphan wants 252HP / 40Atk / 172Def / 44Spd as the EV spread.

Specs that Sceptile.

Blaziken wants Flare Blitz as the main STAB move. Blaze Kick is a bit weak. And it wants Stone Edge over Earthquake.

Electivire wants Life Orb, btw.

because crobats suck and deserve to be chopped into pieces and buried 200 feet underground.

I'm not the Crobat expert, thats my reason ^____________^

But I know that it should carry Brave Bird over Aerial Ace for obvious reasons.

Eh, I guess. But you'll want to outspeed Zam to U-turn out and inflict damage.

Nature: Impish
Earthquake
Raid Spin
Stone Edge
Ice Shard
EVs: 252 HP / 96 Atk / 160 Def ~OR~ 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Atk

[email protected] Band
Nature: Jolly
Brick Break / Focus Punch
Blaze Kick
Thunderpunch
Brave Bird / Focus Punch
EVs: 252 attack/252 speed/6 HP

Infernape CBs better, but sure. EQ adds no more useful coverage, Tpunch dents incoming bulky waters not named swampert. Focus punch is great to run on CB sets also with STAB, it does quite a lot with good prediction skills.

[email protected] Orb
Nature:Adamant
Iron Head
Agility
X-Scissor
Brick Break
EVs: 120 speed/252 attack/138 defense

Eh, Scizor is a bad sweeper. Scyther would be better for this role.

[email protected]Choice Specs
Nature:Modest/Timid
Energy Ball
Dragon Pulse
Hidden Power [Fire]
Leaf Storm
EVs: maxed in speed and sp. attack.

Specs is better for a sweeping Sceppy.

[email protected]Life Orb / Expert Belt
Nature: Adamant
Brick Break (Not re-breeding for Cross Chop <_<)
Thunderpunch
Ice Punch
Earthquake
EVs: 252 attack/ 252 speed/ remaining in HP

Replace BB with something...better. Even a special attack I'd like over it. But if you must...

So yeah, that's what I was using like, a few weeks back when i still played. Thanks for looking through!

Alright, edit in BOLD for PC's most "metal" member.

Needs a special wall, as Gengar and alakazam tear this team apart with no mercy. Replace one of those many physical sweepers (seriously, how many do ya need? ;)) for a special wall, then replace another for a special sweeper, as Skarm gives this team a rough time also.

You'll want to add a cleric also since status wipes out this team and immobilizes your fast sweepers. Especially Thunderwave and WoW. Also, pokemon that rely on setting up with DD and such give you a bit of a tough time, I'd throw in a PHazer as well. Consider a spinner also, as your team will be annoyed by spikes/SR, especially since nothing really hits skarm hard.

EDIT: Take flamehaze's suggestions on Blaziken, it's pretty clear I suck with that thing. I didn't know it even learned stone edge...or I forgot lol

Erm, why? Its probably really obvious but i thought BB caused recoil damage, so why would this be illegal?

You can't get hypnosis on crobat with brave bird. That's why it's illegal.

El Gofre December 29th, 2007 8:17 AM

Ohhhhh i get it now, thanx :)

Oh..Oh that hurts </3

If you don't like Crobat, then GTFO. You're not wanted here. He's a fat little purple bat with 4 wings. He's so cute <33

XD I would carry him with BB, but there's no legitimate way of breeding a Crobat with both Hypnosis, and Brave bird. However, just a question: I have a male Noctowl that knows both Brave bird, and Hypnosis (I Don't own an AR, but I did have my friend hack this for me) that i have bred with a female Zubat before. So..I do actually have a legitimate Crobat with these moves, but the Noctowl I bred it from was hacked. Since the Crobat itself is not hacked, and both moves are learnable through breeding, would using it be allowed? ._.

Anti-Pop Culture Warrior 13: Yeah..I know. I'm not really too farmiliar with any special walls outside of Blissy..and I effing hate Blissy. Rawr. T_T

I know Infernape would probably be better than using Blaziken, but I usually tend to try and stay away from OU pokemon as much as possible (Yeah Electivire is overused..but he kicks ass <_<). Is there any better fighting move that I could teach blaziken, rather than having to just..replace it? ._.

Anti December 29th, 2007 3:09 PM

Special wall not Blissey...hehe...ARTICUNO FOR THE EPIC WIN!!!

Articuno @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 92 Def / 164 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Heal Bell
- Roar
- Roost

You need PKMN XD to get heal bell though, otherwise run reflect for team support.

EDIT: Scarfing Blaziken would up its usefulness really since it gains the speed it sorely lacks.

shedinjask December 29th, 2007 7:19 PM

Nah, the Crobat would not be allowed.

There's no such thing as a hacked Brave Bird Crobat. Since really, it normally learns the move.

Um..yeah dude, but what everyone was trying to get at is that there is no way for Crobat to have the moves Hypnosis, and Brave Bird..at the same time. It learns both moves through breeding, and no pokemon it breeds with learns both of those moves ._.

On another note..DUDE HOSHIKO, IS THAT YOU!?! 8D
